because of construction, I can't find a single inbound stop functional between university in west Lafayette and 5th in Lafayette with the exception of an UNMARKED and unrecognized stop on river
Totally disorganized, unreliable, never on time, not rider-friendly at all. Without going into every single negative issue I have, I'll just say they deserve less than one-star rating. There are 2-3 nice/friendly drivers, but that's it. 👎👎👎
The black older lady kept cutting me off when I tried to talk to her and wouldn't listen to what I was trying to say. Why is she still working here she's been like that for a few years now. Just rude and mean. Also I went to the center and clearly asked for a 30day pass and the older lady I guess gave me a E&D card by mistake maybe, I paid almost 30$ for a 30day pass . now I can't even get on the bus with the one I was Given, how I'm I suppose to know that she gave me the wrong card. And oh surprise surprise no one can help when it was "city bus" mistake not mine. Highly pissed so here's your terrible review.
If I could give only 1 star, I would. Buses look like they have not been cleaned in however long, drivers sling around buses, there is no respect for the E&D/disabled people, and most of all with late buses, drivers are extremely rude. I don't care if there is construction on the roads, that is NO EXCUSE.
The happy hollow bus driver with the gloves and a white beard is racist and made fun of one of the asians getting on the bus. And he is a reckless driver.
The bused are generally clean and usually on time unless the weather is bad and throws them off schedule. Some drivers are more polite than others.
🚃🚃🚃LOVE CITYBUS! THANK YOU ALL FOR CHAUFFEURING MY POOR ARSE AROUND. YOU GUYS ARE LIFE SAVERS! 🚃🚃🚃
As of Fall 2016, routes have been really inconsistent. I've also had a bus driver ignore me while I was already at the bus stop and I just talked to someone else who experienced the same. I've also seen first hand the rude demeanor that some of the drivers have.
Most of the drivers are helpful and do their best to help me with the incorrect route information that CityBus posts on it's website. I have discovered that sometimes the drivers were not informed of route changes and they are not given useful support from logistics when a problem arises during transit. When using the website, always take a test run on the route you are taking if you can. It is hit or miss when using the site map to plan a route to your destination. The website does a lousy job of keeping the site updated and the stop/schedule pdf is difficult to read. The drivers are generally good natured and the buses clean. The people who work administration are idiots from this riders point of view though. I ride the 3 and 1A to work every day.
Terrible support when it comes to calling. Staff are not willing to work with you and be helpful. Recently called about lost and found about an item I misplaced recently on a bus. Told me they cannot contact the bus driver to retrieve the item item some other day. Didn't offer any other suggestions on helping me or on what I could do. I understand it's not their responsibility for lost items. But, I know the item is on that bus and they wouldn't help me whatsoever. Terrible service.
Times are completely random although consistant. Rode the bus for 3 weeks straight same time everyday. Then it suddenly started coming 45 minutes later everyday for 2 weeks. I showed up as I normally do early for the normal bus to realize they switch schedules back when there's already a bus at the stop when I get there. I attempted to get to the bus before it left the stop although of course it didn't wait.Terribly organized concerning time which is the most important thing concerning transportation. Although it is otherwise a good bus system.
