Best steak in Atlanta. Don't get the "tots." Do add the lobster tail. This is by far the best filet I've ever had anywhere!!! Service and ambiance are also a plus.
Impeccable service. Very attentive and polite. The only reason it's not 5 stars is because my salmon was a little under cooked for my taste but otherwise delicious until I reached the center portion.
Food was mediocre at best, a few items were under seasoned/ luke warm. The best dish that my husband and I enjoyed were the lobster morsels that we chose for our appetizer, but the portion size was not as described. The menu stated it served 2-3, but yet we only had 5 pieces of lobster chunks. Some employees that were in the kitchen did not have on gloves and plated food with their bare hands while simultaneously using their cell phones. I expected much more from my $250 dining experience. I will stick to capital
Grille or Ruth Chris.
We had a wonderful experience here. The food was outstanding and the service was exceptional. The lobster bites appetizer was one of the best I have ever had. The crab cakes were amazing as well. Loved our meal here.
great lobster - great steaks- great wine. We had a lobster - crab - steak - feast that was good to the last bite.
Their service was good (not perfect). However considering the restaurant was fully booked the waiters did their best.
Although the service here is hit or miss, the food is consistently delicious. I went twice in one week, and had totally different service experiences. The first night, the wait staff was knowledgeable, outgoing, and went out of their way to ensure we were happy. When we went back three days later (because our overall experience was so great the first night), the wait staff couldn't answer basic questions, brought us out cold food, and later brought us out the wrong order without apologizing for it. The manager didn't even come over to discuss the errors. Based on the second experience, it may be a long time before we go back to Chops.
Excellent food and service even though some Bozos brought their damn 5 year old here. If I'm going here I don't want to have to listen to you AND your kid whine about there being no kids' menu. Its high end dining, get the kid a damn babysitter!
too cold inside. food got cold quickly. service was kind of inattentive . had to flag waiter down to get wine order. food uninspiring. only positive was GM Comped our porterhouse.
we have been here many times over the years. not hurrying back anytime soon, if at all.
Chops is my all time favorite fine dining restaurant. Staff is very friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend this place. Food is to die for and would be a great place to celebrate a birthday or any special occasion since it is a fine dining restaurant.
Eight of us went to this restaurant last night and as expected it was quite busy. The air conditioning was working below par and we were really hot. After requesting the management it became bearable. I do not know if they were short handed but our server was not only all over the place but was even rude. For such a high end place you want your server to give you his or her undivided attention. The food was good but nothing to rave about. It was definitely not worth the money
One of the freshest and juiciest surf n turf due South of the Mason-dixon line! The atmosphere is suitable for a nice romantic evening for two as well as a comfortable for family meal together. Everything was great and the only way it would have been even better is if it were able to have been on a sailboat during a sunset.
Excellent service and very friendly and welcoming staff! Definitely recommend and will return for years to come! 😁
I thought the service was outstanding. All the staff were exceptional. We thought the food was okay, but not anything to send us over the moon. We had the french onion soup, which was fantastic. The east coast oysters were great, but didn't like the west. Our steaks were good, but nothing spectacular. They forgot our asparagus. The fried lobster tail was okay, the broiled was better. Wish I could give a better review.
We recently had a fabulous meal here. The steaks and sides were outstanding and perfectly prepared. The environment is formal, but not stuffy. The service is attentive and friendly. This is an excellent steak house and the prices are as expected. Great wine list. Great for friends, family (adults), or business dinners. I recommend the Filet or New York Strip. Take your time and enjoy a true steak institution.
I gave this restaurant 5 stars because the food was really good I had the seafood trio but most of all Stephanie was wonderful she made me a chocolate drink and it's to die for I absolutely loved it. I will definitely be back and I am definitely going to request her. She was wonderful and patient. We need to people like her.
I had heard so much about this restaurant, so my expectations were high. The food was good, but I thought the porter house steak was salty. My husband had the lobster bisque and for $27 we were expecting something extra special, but it was just a run of the mill bisque. The highlight of the meal was my tiger shrimp appetizer. The creamy citrus sauce with the shrimp was to die for. Both of our entrees were very tasty, but a little salty. The service was very good, especially the server assistant, who was very friendly. All in all, it was a good meal, but it seemed overpriced for what we had. There are other restaurants in Atlanta with better food at this same price point.
