Just ate here last night and it was a very good chinese buffet. I'd recommend it.
It was good food for a standard buffet. They didn't standout. That's okay. I was bad nor great. The cost on Sunday was about 14 dollars without ordering drinks which is not bad for an all you can eat place.
China Garden Buffet is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in the Dayton area. The food is good, plenty of variety, and the price is right.
I have been coming here for many, many years and I always leave full and happy. Sam and the crew consistently do a great job of keeping their guests satisfied.
Good food. Pretty clean and the servers are polite. There’s 5 different buffet lines in which one includes the desert bar. Pretty standard options for a Chinese buffet. Today I brought my family and we will be back.
Went there with some pals, ordered drinks and received 3/7 wrong drinks.. got 2 visits for refills out of the hour and 30 minutes we were there. After paying an over $100 bill, and leaving a tip (not up to par or 20% for obvious reasons) we got harassed to give a bigger tip
The service is great and the food is exceptional here at the China Garden Buffet. I would like to see some variety from time to time. Other than that, well worth the nightly spot to check out.
It's a buffet, so four stars is about as good as it gets. That said, this is our go-to buffet because of the crab legs and we probably eat there about once a month. Especially like the jalapeno chicken and their teriyaki chicken skewers are really good. All the standard stuff plus some sushi.
the worst experience ever nasty rude cashier went to pay the bill she insisted I pay a tip the food was full of salt and the chicken was old and NASTY stale I refused to tip and she told me not to come there again , nasty Chinese woman
The food is okay, but after a certain time the good gets soggy. They only put new food in the trays when it's empty and who knows how long it could take for people to eat all food. The service is horrible. The drinks can stay empty for 15-20 minutes, but the plates get picked up right away. When I get up to get my food, the employees give me dirty looks. Who would want to eat at a buffet where the workers constantly are giving them dirty looks. Personally, I think it is outrageous to charge 15% tip after 5 people, which they consider a party. After we were done eating, we paid the bill with the 15% tip. In the car we saw on the receipt that they charged 15% tip twice. the bill ended up to be $80. I've been here a lot, but the service keeps getting worse. After this experience, I don't think I would like to eat there again. What a rip off! Everyone, save your money and go eat somewhere else that is cheaper, has better employees and service, and much better food. I'll start to come back when all 4 of those things have changed.
Fresh and good chicken, good seafood and a lot of it. Everything was is on point, this is the best place to go if you would like to take out your mother for Mother's Day
DON'T GO TO THIS PLACE. I REPEAT DO NOT GO! the food was awful, as was the service. When I went to go pay (I didn't leave a tip because of those reasons). The lady cashing us out demanded a tip, I'm not lying. She actually demanded a tip and even had the server go check my table to see if I left a tip on the table. Then 2 more servers came over demanding I give a tip. I finally left a 1 dollar tip and they proceeded to say some pretty rude things. I've never felt so attacked in my life.
My Dad and I use to frequent this place until one day they accused my father of not paying for his meal after he had already done so. My father wouldn't steal a penny from anyone and I won't be back. The food is pretty good but the customer service has always been poor and this put me over the edge. I will not be back nor will I continue to recommend to anyone.
