Typically open to public on weekends, $10/per person day pass for exploring/fishing Old Florida 100k acres of undeveloped land mostly slash pine , some oak and scrub. Dirt roads, 4wd recommended. Closed for main use as military training area Mon - Fri, but schedule varies. Primitive camping and hunting available but be aware military regulations are strict. This is NOT a state park don't expect the same treatment or facilities. Hunters dominate public use Oct - Dec. Area is also logged and has cattle leases, and monitors endangered species such as gopher tortoise and scrub jay.

Great place to go for hunting, fishing, camping, recommend to anyone.
