Family dinner. Wide selection of homemade food, sandwiches, soups, desserts. Service is very pleasant and allows time to enjoy your meals.

This restaurant has great delious food, quick service and reasonably priced food. It also has freshly baked desserts and a
signature broccoli cherry nut salad as one of the sides. Also try the chicken pot pie soup. It is fabulous.response / report this review -

Great hole in the wall eatery, locally owned and everything is made fresh. Great specials and desserts. Pies, cookies, pastries, and scones all great. Great soup and stew selection and hearty portioned entres. I highly recommend.

Friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere are complimented by delicious breakfasts at this local cafe. The only caveat is that their breakfast service ends a bit early, though their lunches are also quite good.

Arrived at 10:42, breakfast is served till 11:00. Was told "sit anywhere you like" the only empty booth was not clean. Waited 20 min with no drinks then had to get up and ask for service. When the waiter came to our booth at 11:07 we were told that they were done serving breakfast. Will never know how the food would have been, couldn't get past the horrible service. Will not recommend or return.

Love coming in here. Most of the staff is pretty awesome and the food is tasty. Even at the height of the lunch rush, I can usually get in, get my food, eat (maybe a little faster than I'd like, buts it's the lunch rush), and get back to work in an hour. Really need to make a point of trying breakfast here.

I was a little confused when I came in this place. I thought it was just a bakery, but after I took a seat the friendly wait staff brought a menu. There were a lot of options to choose from, I had a nice Rueben sandwich that was very tasty. The chips that it came with were addictive. I should have just stopped and left feeling great, but for some reason I decided to give the peanut butter pie a go.
It was amazing, so sweet. The problem is that this pie should not be eaten by one person alone. Now, I have no willpower, and I'm going to try to eat everything I order, but after about 80% in I started getting the shakes. The pie was winning. I kept going. Either my pancreas was going to go into shock or I was going to finish this pie, maybe both. 95% was all I could do.
Defeated by the pie I paid my bill and ran a marathon with all the sugar energy. Then I slept for six days straight in a sugar crash coma.

Cherry House Cafe is a wonderful place to eat. I regularly frequent this restaurant and when I'm here I have never had a bad meal. I've ordered almost everything on the menu and have never been disappointed. In addition to fine salads, you'll find excellent sandwiches, and a variety of specials that go on each day.
You can also order delicious cakes, muffins, cookies, fudge, and a variety of other sweets.
The staff is friendly knowledgeable and prompt about caring for you while you're in the restaurant. When you're in Beavercreek I recommend you eat at Cherry House Cafe.response / report this review -

This place is a hidden gem in Beavercreek. It is small and unassuming. Cozy. The staff is cheerful and attentive.
I have had breakfast and lunch here. For breakfast I had an English muffin with fried egg and bacon sandwich. It was the best breakfast sandwich I have had. Everything was really fresh and they finished it with some parmesan that gave it that extra punch.
For lunch I tried the cheeseburger pie. The ultimate comfort food. I highly recommend giving it a try. The best way I can describe their style; it's like mom makes but with added flair that just makes it really shine.

Ate there once with my husband. Utensils were dirty. Coffee was served with lipstick on supposed clean cups. Food portions were small. Manager/owner was to busy chit chatting with favorite customers than making sure the restaurant was being run to clean and healthy standards. We will NEVER be back to this nasty joint.

My husband & I were in Temple for a meeting. I had a morning to myself and stumbled onto Meg's for a late breakfast. Wonderful service, very pleasant waitstaff, excellent coffee, a variety of fresh breads (baked in their kitchen) and muffins. I enjoyed it so much we stopped on our way out of town so my husband could check it out. Great little place!
