Great pre game Lions stop. Even for a Vikes fan
We were disappointed. The bathrooms were filthy, and i have spent my share of time im some sketchy frat houses. Husband ordered fries with his coney's litterly got 10 fries on the side. The Ruben had no thousand island. Had to hunt someone down to get silverware. The second star goes to the girl who dropped our food off, super sweet girl. We won't go back.
Some of the best drinks in town! If your ever in down down Detroit Michigan and looking for drinks, this place is must. They have amazing drinks and the food is delish as well. If you do get food, I highly recommend the ramen burgerI know it sound odd but it is so yummy. All of the drinks Ive tried have also been very good. They have a huge menu of cocktails, and it can be a little over whelming. As for the atmosphere it is very dark and upscale. I would absolutely recommend this place for either a date night or a night out with friends.
Food was great.. had a bread vowk of chili and a beer for less than $10. Great service and not overpriced.
Best downtown gathering place. Friendly staff great food.
Great atmosphere inside and outside. The service was great, even when it was packed. Security is decent too.
We enjoyed our chili and sandwiches. Would definitely return. We went mid day when few were around so everything was relatively fast.
There was a Tiger game and Lions preseason game on a Saturday afternoon. We were informed by the bartender that there was no wait staff today. You had to stand in line to order your food and stand in line to order your drinks. No Thank you! We went down to Hockeytown Cafe. We had a $80 tab and gave the waitress a $20 tip. I'm sure the waitstaff at Chelis could have made a ton of tips that day with both games on a Saturday. If I want to stand in line, I can always go to a fast food chain or concession stand inside the park.
Great place to be before any sporting event downtown but also a good place to grab some food & drinks anytime
Best place to get a bite to eat before/after catching a game in Detroit. Good food, excellent wings, burgers and beer options. Outdoor beer tents usually running during summer months.
Went here for a tigers game, good place to chill for a few drinks and decent view in the sun.
Great place to party before a tigers game. Met Rod Allen and Craig Monroe here back in 2013! Got pictures with them and they signed my baseball
Great place to entertain before the game. Be sure to go to the rooftop - great view of Comerica Park.
