The rooms are a bit stuffed with needless future and a spa tub in the room. The beds are fine. We could not get hot water out of the shower and got no help from staff. That was the most frustrating thing.

I was cycling all day from city to city and i just wanted a place to stay. My girlfriend booked a room for me since i didnt think ahead of time and i just wanted a warm place to stay. I paid over 100 dollars for this room and when i got there they told me to go some where else. I guess they didnt like me or something. I was just told to go some where else. Maybe im over thinking this but maybe they didnt like me since i belong to a minority group. Any way maybe or maybe not. Worse hotel ever never go there i felt so bad. If you want a great hotel with a super friendly staff and beautiful rooms please. Visit hotel casa ojai. Super helpful people. I told them how badly i was treated over at this dump of a hotel and they even gave me a discount and said said sorry for those people. First time in ojai but it wont be my last.
If you want to stay at an amazing hotel please try casa ojai. Beautiful place friendly people great prices.
Never stay at chantico inn it sucks and to my brother cyclists if you are looking for a nice warm place to rest go to other hotel i would say casa ojai.response / report this review -

Pros: quaint surroundings and location, Spanish themed decor. Cons: No phone in the room, Thin walls, lack of WiFi (supposed to be free with the room which is good, it just didn't work even after contacting staff). Overall not bad but I wouldn't book here again if I was bringing something to work on or watch due to WiFi issues. People seemed to like the pool and hot tub, I didn't try it.

Huge jacuzzi warm pool comfortable beds complementary glass of wine.. fine dining 2 doors down.. European decor .. stained glass windows.. Mexican tile floors.. very pleasant employees.

Only gets two stars because location is convenient to Ojai Valley Inn and town center. Rooms are ancient. Our bed was raise abnormally high such that our faces were a few getting from the wooden overhang of the bed's headboard. Comforter was weathered and that's never reassuring. Sink seemed clog and drained slowly. Stairs only. Worst $200+ I've spent on a hotel.

My girlfriend and I booked room 6 for our anniversary. The location was great and we loved the private pool and hot tub. The staff were friendly and the room was comfortable and clean. It was strange that there was no place to hang any clothing and there were only two towels. We slept well as the road was silent, but we could hear our upstairs neighbors tramping around for some of the night. Breakfast left much to be desired but all-in-all we had a wonderful stay!

First of all Debbie was awesome! It was a last-minute reservation and I had called around and Debbie was so charming that she sold me on the place. When my wife and I arrived it had a great little jacuzzi tub, small, but we were both able to enjoy it. It is extremely quiet charming and peaceful and the beds were very soft and comfortable
