Sean was professional and did a great job of taking care of our vehicle. At first they couldn’t find the issue, kept it for a few days, and then the vehicle finally did what it had done to us. They fixed it quickly and correctly. We appreciated the communication and thorough process. He was also very helpful to answer all of our questions and when I arrived to pick up he thoroughly went through everything with me and explained in detail.

I really appreciate the service I received from Certified Transmission. I was a little stressed when I realized I had a transmission problem. I've always heard they are expensive!

Nothing to see here - the quote was a blow to my humble finances. Sean D. helped me sort it out and sooner than expected, the truck was fixed! No hassles, no fuss! I like this.

Just a great group of young men! Very patient and understanding! Especially with someone who had a ton of questions and concerns! And, they broke it down for me. They answered all of my questions simply, and didn't use a lot of terminology I didn't understand! You have transmission concerns? Stop in and see these gentlemen! You will not be disappointed! Caleb and Brian were friendly, honest, knowledgeable and professional. I took my car in for a diagnostic. It was the best $49.95 I've ever spent!
Even though it turned out not to be the transmission, they were still very helpful in suggesting possible problem areas to check when going to an automotive shop. I explained to them I was seeking an honest and experienced shop and they gave me several recommendations.
I highly recommend this Certified Transmission on 23rd Street in Independence.

Listen everyone I went to Cottman they told me I needed a transmission said it was shot there weren't nothing they can do about it
So as a professional place of business I took their advice I put a transmission in it well after I was all done said and done transmission did not work no to transmission act bad in the same scenario so I took my van to certified I didn't have the money at the time set up an appointment going back to the junkyard pick up another transmitter just see what happens I pulled another trans make it put it in same scenario no change so my appointment time with do so I came into Commons they led me right to my problem throttle position sensor I Tell You Folks I recommend highly to Certified Transmission may God bless that shop and they are located right there on 23rd Street and Independence Missouri good place to go not too far from Nolan Road everybody have a blessed day
I can't believe one little item electrical cause my whole problem throughout the whole engine transmission fuel pump everything I guess you could say it interferes with this computer causing all this take care signing off

I went to the Independence location due to their long term in business and for the 50+ good reviews. My experience was excellent. I was treated very well with a thorough explanation of what they would do for me. They were extremely honest and forthright. The location was spectacularly clean and very professional right down to the uniforms worn by all employees. They were prompt on solving my problem and the cost was quite competitive. I would highly recommend this location to any one and would definitely go there again should I ever have a future need. Thanks Caleb!!!

I replaced a clutch in my MINI at this shop. Not a cheap fix but they charged a fair price for the work. I was referred by my regular mechanic, who couldn't handle this job. They did great work, kept me informed all along, and completed the work at the time and price quoted. I would definitely recommend Certified in Independence.

What a great staff!! The guys up here are looking out for us..the customer's!! I came up just for a transmission service and while I waited they were discussing another issue on a different car that needs a new transmission, but they didn't just want to put one in they were going to find out why the original one failed. Now thats fixing a problem and not just patching one up. This is a great friendly staff.

Could not be with out truck for very , quick diagnose,transmission ordered and installed and ready to roll in 5 business days.very happy,very professional. Think twice about a rebuild,i did a rebuild elsewhere & only lasted 14 months.
