Honest as you can get here.. Sometimes too honest for some newcomers, until you get to know them, but they stand by their work 100%.. They will get you safely back on the road as quick as anywhere, and you'll get the fairest deals found around the area..

Bought a car from them. The transmission started leaking first time I drove a good distance and wouldn't shift. It was leaking on the seal. I had to pay $250 supposed to be half! Got the car back, it was still leaking. I took it to another shop they took out the seal that was supposed to be fixed and all they did was silicone the old seal. I paid $250 for that. Lower than a 1 if it was possible! Avoid!

Brakes lasted less than a year. Apparently rotors didn't get turned nor did I get told they needed replaced along with the brake pads Then my wife calls to find out what the deal is, & she gets laughed at, while feeling disrespected & made to feel like a fool If she knew about cars, she wouldn't of been calling for help.

I'm a shadetree mechanic, and can do almost everything myself. I take my cars here when there's something I can't diagnose, or don't feel like dealing with due to the weather or whatever. The mechanics seem to know their stuff.

I had my son's 99 mustang towed to Auto Medics to repace a starter. They called and said it would cost $399.00. I thought that was high but told them to go ahead. I called BJ's Auto in Saint Joseph, MO and they quoted $267.00, also called Anderson Ford - "the dealer"!!! and they quoted $269.00. Called Auto Medics and they said they may be quoting you a rebuilt starter and also it cost more for labor if it is a manual transmition, which it is. So I called Ford Dealer back and they said it is a new starter and the labor is actually less intensive than an automatic, but labor is quoted the same. I rest my case; they overcharged me and LIED to me, so they will lie to anyone!!!. BAD, BAD bussiness,

I went to 6 shops trying to get my car inspected and the Firestone Tire Store recommended I try Auto Medics.. I went there and almost left because their parking lot was completely full, but I went in any way to inquire about getting my car safety inspected and Larry at the front desk to me right in, inspected it himself and got me on the road in less than 30 minutes. I also found out that they do $9.95 oil changes on my type of car so you can bet that I'll be going back to Auto Medics everytime I need an oil change or work. They are really nice and professional ! !
A real breath of fresh air in this town ! ! ! I highly recommend these guys ! :)response / report this review
