Not my style of place. Smelled kind of mildew like. Major red flag for me was no mattress covers over the beds for bed bugs and this is definitely something that should be done for beds with high traffic. Beds were very uncomfortable. Tub did not drain. Doors should be automatic for when you’re trying to carry bags in. Pretty pricey for what it was(n’t). Can’t please everyone so try on your own.

At first I wasn't sure what to expect from this hotel. Things weren't perfect but let me tell you, the staff here is the best I have seen in any hotel, restaurant, establishment, etc. These people are so caring and deserve your business as travelers. I come to Alabama a lot and I will be sure to return, if anything just to know I'm staying in a place where I'm cared for as a guest

Very pleased from the time we walked until we walked out. GM was at the desk and very friendly. Room was good size, clean and reasonably priced. Would stay there again if in the area.

Very nice. An older hotel, but was very clean! They were very, very nice!! Enjoyed the breakfast so much! Used a coupon from a book from rhe visitor center. Got a great room for 59.00 and a bit! For two. The couple traveling with us liked it also. We definitely would stay there again. Cracker Barrel next door. Great dinner. We walked. Yes!

The manager in fact went through my room, and several other peoples rooms that i know of. And my things were gone through as were the things of other residents. I had the do not disturb sign on my door and could possibly understand if the NEW management would have notified myself and the other tenants that they wanted to go in and take the trash put i would have simply declined. But myself nor any other tenants were notified until after the rooms had been entered and my privacy severely violated. In fact i believe what happened to be illegal seeing as how there was no reason for the room to be entered with the do not disturb sign hanging in plain sight outside the door on the door knob. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless you wish to have no privacy or security regarding your room and belongings. I was also accused of something falsley by the mistaken new manager. Myself and two other members of our group found small bugs in the room.

We are under new Management and have made several changes to upgrade the interior of the property. Management is working on get more up to date photos of he property.

We are NOT Pet Friendly and we have tried several time to correct this information and have not found a way to get this done. Sorry for the Inconvenience.

The desk lady was super wonderful. I was finishing a long 18 hour day and was exhausted. Showered got ready for bed and had to sleep on top of the bedding, due to the stains on the sheet. Trisha was good enough to leave me a note expressing her desire for me to enjoy my stay. Unfortunately, she neglected to change the sheets. Poor work on her part.
This maybe a rare occasion. But, must give a one star.

Stayed here August 29 and 30 2017.
Nice, I was on the ground floor and it was quiet and everything worked fine. The bad was comfortable as were the pillows. Washer and dryer were fast. Laundry was finished quickly (I hate laundry) would stay here again. The staff was fantastic, but I didn't have any complaints to deal with.

Great looking on the outside! I knew when we opened the door to the lobby we were in trouble. The door had paint chipped off. The employees were very nice and helpful though. When we walked to our room there was a musty smell. The room smelled dirty a well but was clean. Bed was comfortable, but the bathtub had mold around the floor and also in the shower. My mother wouldn't even take a shower there! The breakfast was really great too! Would not stay there again!

It was so cute pulling up and the lobby is adorable.
Rooms are big but need many updates and some deep cleaning.
Lobby and elevator smelled of cigarettes.
Breakfast was sausage, muffins and cereal.
They did have waffles but styrofoam plates would melt under the waffle.
Room for improvement but has super great potential.

Better watch out for this hotel. Called to make a reservation for one night during Iron Bowl weekend. Hotel agreed and then told me at CHECKOUT that it was a two-night minimum. We received no help from the GM. Would have never agreed to 2 nights. Would have given the tickets to my son and said "go have fun." Will not ever stay there again.
