For a non smoking room we had cigarette burns all over our blankets
Beds are more firm than soft. Pillows are just "meh". Water pressure & heat is ok.
Breakfast is biscuits & gravy, waffle maker, cereal, instant oatmeal & grits.
Wi-Fi is 72mbps connection and fair speed.
The pool leaves much to be desired. Not far from campus.
Just visiting but it was nice. Room appeared to be clean and had a small couchclutch!!!
Pet friendly. Decent and clean. Last minute booking was a breeze. Also, there is a very large grassy area to play with the dog right across the parking lot.
Terrible stay. Filty rooms. Mold in the bathroom, ciggarette burns in the sheets. Calls to the front desk went unanswered. Bugs in the light fixture in the bathroom. Roaches found crawling out of the sink. Got in at 10 pm left at 4am just to get out of there. Avoid this place at all costs.
Equal to motel 6, minus the breakfast. Room did come with basic microwave and coffee maker, although the runner in the bathroom was peeling off, the tub was nice. Better than most hotels I've seen below the Hilton/Marriott bar.
Tuscaloosa, AL: We were charged $125 for a room supposedly because of football game but also coincided with mandatory evacuations from hurricane. The room was not clean and had a bad smell. The breakfast was minimal. Most overpriced room for the conditions I have ever rented. Drywall falling from ceiling and the sheets were wrinkled.
I wasn't expecting the Ritz. What I was expecting was a good value. Other than a smoke detector issue which was fixed right away, my stay was excellent. The room was clean, the staff was very friendly and the coffee was hot. There is an Outback that you can walk to and a Waffle House, what more could you need? If on a budget and having to stay near University of Alabama, stay here!
Very clean. Comfortable beds. Nice hot water. Quiet. Great location near all kinds of restaurants and a convenience store. We stay here every time we stay over in Tuscaloosa.
The night I stay seemed like it was a nice hotel.when morning came , there were issues with the toliet. I had to go to front desk to get a plunger to plunge the toliet. And worked on it for a hour or longer. So before checking out I asked if I could be compensated for this the lady said the Manger wasn't in and no one else was there to handle the concern.I told her I would call on Monday still no manger. I called on wednesday no Manger . The Manger finally contacted the other party that wasn't even calling her and only gave a 10 percent discount I didn't check in to become a plumber but a guess and this is the way we get treated.Beware of toliet problems. No staff came to do the job. This is their way of making people feel welcomed. This my review on this place. (Opinion)
Staff was very friendly. Close to several restaurants and highway for easy access. However the rest of our experience was very poor. The bedding in our room had cigarette burn holes and the smell of smoke was so strong it was unbearable.
I asked for two handicap rooms and didn't get them. My mother don't walk as well, she is 96 years old. My brother has hip problems and he didn't have a handicap room. It was an rough weekend for them two, thank God we made it through. Rooms were not as clean , the microwave was terrible,, I bought some cleaner and clean it myself.
Stayed here for 5 days while in town for business. Friendly staff, clean rooms, and respectful service. The only complaint is it took a while to connect to wifi. Other then that it was a great stay.
I really liked this hotel. The price was incredibly decent, the room was clean and spacious. The staff was incredibly friendly and they had warm cookies at check-in! Breakfast was a little better than the average continental breakfast with biscuits and gravy available as well as the usual cereal, baked goods, coffee, tea, etc.
