Great place to watch movies. It's clean and comfortable. My biggest gripe is the price of concessions in comparison to other theaters. It's an shame. $20 for 2 pops and a small popcorn and $1 more for a splash of real butter??? Ridiculous and part of the reason that I hardly go there. The other reason is at night the clientele is a bit shady. The staff won't enforce rules because they are scared of these people and will only offer you tickets to a future showing. Bottom line, it's ok for matinee time shows but not at night.

Best movie theater with the best seat, all seats are reclining so you can lay down and watch the movie with lots of space for even the bigger person. The lobby is filled with activities while you wait for your movie. Concessions have many registers so the wait is little. The menu is big so you can read it from a distance, so you know what you want when it’s your turn. They have D-box seats for some showings, these seat moves and shakes to the movement of the movie so you get a 4D effect. I would recommend this theater to anybody small or big. I’ve gladly drive the 30min drive to go here.

Reserved seating in power recliners. Super clean. Free drink and popcorn refills (stand under Refills Here sign instead of going through line again). Digital iMAX (smaller screen, but better variety of movies). Have always found them to be very responsive to any problems encountered. Definitely sign up for the Celebrity Rewards card!

I love this theater. I try to go to matinee shows if possible, which are a lot less expensive. Purchasing tickets online is very easy. Reclining, comfortable seats and friendly staff. IMAX movies are a lot of fun, and I plan to come back for sure.

2 things set them apart from everyone: #1 being able to reserve seats and a HUGE #2 with bars separating each row there is a ton of comfort and space to walk. They made great decisions and for the last 2 years our family has only gone to a different theatre 1 time and all of the rest of our visits have been to Celebration. Great decisions!

My review is solely based on making their website much more complicated than their old one. You now have to select today's date instead of it automatically being shown? Also you have to scroll 5x as much to see all the movies. Absolutely awful website change. The old website was much more user friendly.

We went to sit down in our seats, and as I was searching for the buttons for the recliner, my finger was "sliced" on a sharp can lid placed vertically and strategically in the crack between the seat and the middle console area. As I held my now bleeding thumb, I raised the console to see a filthy mess of popcorn and straws.

I went to the front and asked to see the manager. As I was describing what happened, he had this look on his face of "incredulousness". "Well, they're supposed to clean the seats". They didn't, what can I say? He never apologized, never asked if there was anything he could do, or showed any level of real concern. One of the younger staff people gave me a couple of bandages from the first aid kit. After I came out of the restroom after washing the blood off my hand, he did ask me if I wanted to "fill out a report" - really, why?

That's my experience, your mileage may vary. But I doubt we will go here again.

Assigned seating is awesome. I like this place the best due to the seating. Not a fan of the fee to reserve seats online. The customer service at the Grand Rapids Celebration Cinemas is almost always much better than this theater, but this is still a fine place to see movies.

I don't usually go to this cinema. Its further for me to drive. But there was a one time show I had to see and it played here. The lobby is cluttered looking. I paid and got to pick my seat on a screen.

I was a few minutes past showtime, so looking for an assigned seat in the dark was fun. The floor has lit up letters, but the seats are hard to find the numbers on. There are much fewer seats in each theater room. The seats are recliner chairs that are pretty big. Not the best seats if you fall asleep easy!

Great place to see a movie, great rewards program, and overall concessions are good. I would make 3 suggestions to make this the perfect movie destination.

1). The recliner seats. Make the footrest and the back move independently. Currently, for me to raise the footrest where I want it, I'm practically lying on my back. Great for napping, not so good for watching movies.

2). More diet drink selections. Not all diet drinkers want a cola (Mountain Dew available now). I realize Celebration is a Pepsi shop, but NCG with the Coke Free Style machines has virtually unlimited choices.

3). I often go to the movies alone. It would be nice to have a combo option available suitable for 1 person.

It's very large. Has an I Max theater. All the chairs are recliners. There are cops holders on both sides, not just one like NCG. Had to sit in row B, we arrived late and it was almost sold out. Great sound. Clean. Nice staff.

Great popcorn and decent ticket prices especially if you go early. All the theaters have power reclining seats which is nice only downside is side they added them all seats are assigned and there are less seats per theater. So if your planning on going to a movie on opening weekend you either need to buy the ticket in advance online for an extra fee or at the theater usually the day before.

Great theaters, and generally a wide choice of movies. Reclining seats are great, and action movies are even better with the "D-box" seats. Concessions are extremely expensive, however. Recommend alternative snacking options

The seats are amazing. I always felt movies were over priced. I now feel they are a good value for the entertainment. I love that I can charge my electric car while visiting. That is as long as the spaces aren't taken by rude non electric car drivers.

I'm probably in the minority, but I don't actually like their new seating arrangement (not that new, it's been a couple years since they 'upgraded'). I prefer more traditional theater seating, I guess, but a lot of people like the fact that Celebration's seats a huge and cushy and can recline, like, all the way back.

Very good sound and picture quality.

Good snack selection but overpriced-- this is a good place to sneak your own snacks into. :P
