I love the Cedar Grove Vet! The vet's are all very friendly and helpful! Only downside is they are a little pricey but worth it in our opinion!!!
Been a customer since 1992, all the doctors and staff are wonderful. Prices are good too, I live an hour away and will still commute for annual appointments!
After 20 years, we still take our dogs to the Cedar Grove Vets. Our recent visit was for our new puppy, Jack. It was a positive experience for him that will hopefully make future visits enjoyable.
Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Neuman loves you all
We switched from another incompetent vet closer to us due to some bad experiences years ago. I've had nothing but great and professional service with all my animals I have taken here. 1 dog, 3 cats and now 2 rabbits. They have gone out of their way to help us in ways that were unexpected. I put one cat down and Dr. Dommer was very supportive. I was a basket case. I had gotten a new barn kitten free from a local friend/farm which became ill overnight and almost passed away. I took her to the Animal Hospital that night, because this vet was not open. Then immediately the next morning they squeezed her in and she's fat and healthy now. Lately we have taken our rabbits in lately and the assistant is going out of her way to help us at the fair and showing them due to this being our first experience there. Absolutely Wonderful! Couldn't imagine going anywhere else. We travel 30 minutes to get there because they are VERY GOOD! Keep it up!
Dr Martin is a fantastic veterinarian! I would recommend them to anyone in the area. They are very kind and compassionate.
Techs and doctors are great, but Dr. Dommer, is very unprofessional. I was sent a very rude email regarding my application and resume. She did inform me that they do not have openings for students or new employees, but went on to insult my resume. As a student in the veterinary field and a customer who has paid hundreds to this clinic for 3 animals in the course of roughly 4 years, I felt very disrespected and not valued. I literally had my dog fixed here the month prior to this, which was not cheap. Then this is how I was treated. Its a nice clinic with many great people. But this doctor has ruined it for me, and I don't plan on returning.
When I bred my Labs 3 years ago, I took my female there for a post birth check up. "Everything was fine." A day later a stillborn pup dropped out and I brought her back in to find out there was yet another stillborn inside. Had to have surgery to remove it and all of this was at my cost. This was very poor on their part and could have killed my dog!!!
Now my other dog needs medicine for an ear infection and they want me to come in and spend a bunch of money on other services before they will give me the medicine for him. They always try to nickel and dime me when I go in there and I have decided enough is enough. Time to go out of my way to find a new vet!
