Thank you for all your kindness with my cat. thank you for my condolences note
So glad we found Satisfaction Cat Clinic! We were referred to take our sick kitty to Franklin to see a specialist after he was having abdomninal pain, not eating or drinking, and having a hard time breathing. We were recommended by a family member to try this place out and come to find out they do the same specialized testing we were needing to have done in Tennessee. They were able to get our kitty in the same day! We were so relieved to finally get some answers about our cats condition. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and caring about cats. We will be back! Thank you Dr. Belser and staff! You guys are simply amazing!
They love cats! Super nice! Super knowledgeable! And won't pressure you into unnecessary things.
My sweet 17-year-old tuxedo baby Sammie-Sue had thyroid disease and it looked like she wouldn't survive. I brought her to Catisfaction so she could have radioactive iodine treatment. It worked! She is now much more healthy and gaining weight. She has regained her noisy enthusiasm and is even playing sometimes (She’s upside down, getting a belly rub right now). Her second followup lab tests show thyroid values in the normal range.
Thank you Miss Brenda for your best care during the week she spent with you. You were also patient with Sammie's anxious mom (me) and I thank you for your understanding. Thanks to everyone there who loved, fed, cleaned up or had anything to do with her recovery.
At 17 years old, she has more days behind her than before her, but now they have a good chance of being comfortable and happy ones.
Thank you Dr Gandy for your compassionate and expert care. And thank you for listening to my concerns.
The ladies at Catisfaction Clinic took great care of my two adopted babies. Mia, the cat pictured, hates being around other cats. She got comfy in the weigh basket instead. They answered all of my questions with excellent explanations, and didn't try to sell me unnecessary products. Will be returning!
Very nice and sympathetic staff.
Dr. Gandy and staff are the only ones I trust with the care and treatment of my cats. Simply the best!
Dr. Gandy and the entire staff at Catisfaction are top notch. They have been my vet since they opened. I won't board my cat anywhere else. My kitty is very shy and scared of loud noises. The staff at Catisfaction takes excellent care of her. They even give her a little cardboard box in her boarding tower to quell her anxiety about not being at home. You can't go wrong with Dr. Gandy and staff. They love their patients.
Best cat vet in Madison. It is exclusively for cats.
I thought about writing a review for Catisfaction for a while but never seemed to get around to it. However, after my precious kitty, Sammy, suffered through a kidney stone and noting the excellent care he received, I felt it was about time to recommend this clinic.
I'm grateful for the knowledge both Dr. Gandy and Dr. Belser possess, as they certainly decreased his pain level and made sure he was comfortable. When my Sammy was ready to return home to us, after the staff made sure it was safe for us to do so, he had to be on daily fluids. Before we took him home, the staff trained us on how to administer the fluids as well as the side effects that might occur. Of course, that still didn't stop me from freaking out after my boy started bleeding after giving him his daily fluids. Slightly panicking, I call the clinic and they reassure me that everything's fine.
Flashback to a couple of years ago, when I first thought of recommending Dr. Gandy and her clinic. My Sammy became more of a grouch than normal, and one day, he sulked behind our TV stand. I could tell he was in pain. We took him to the vet immediately. That evening, we were called back into the clinic. Dr. Gandy herself informed us that they ran some tests on my Meezer, and the results weren't good - our diabetic Siamese had pancreatitis. She couldn't say for sure whether Sammy would live. After I started crying, Dr. Gandy let us back into her office to give us some privacy. She told us that she was going to take him home with her in order to monitor his condition, and that they would keep us updated. That night, she took him home and kept him in a toddler's playpen (that he promptly jumped out of, the rascal).
Sammy was at the clinic for an entire month, during which time I got acquainted with the idea that my boy wasn't coming home. The staff kept us updated on his condition, but made sure not to give me false hope. Throughout the ordeal, Dr. Gandy was compassionate. We were potentially waiting for the news that my precious baby boy had passed away without me, and Dr. Gandy understood how much pain we were in and guided us through it. She's more than just a vet with knowledge of cats, she's a cat lover and a human being. I couldn't be more grateful to have someone like her take care of my fur baby.
Eventually, my sweet boy was able to come back home to us. Again, I cried as I held him in my arms and listened to him purr (I'm a sentimental crybaby if you couldn't already tell). I don't know what would've happened if we let another vet handle my boy's care during that tumultuous time, but I know he wouldn't be beside me as I write this review. Now, my Sammy is a diabetic with a previous history of pancreatitis and was recently diagnosed with IBS. We look forward to celebrating his twelfth birthday in January and continuing his care with Dr. Gandy and now Dr. Belser. Needless to say, our two-year-old terror of a "kitten" is under their excellent care as well.
Thank you Dr. Gandy for helping my Meezer and enabling me to see his beautiful blue eyes every day!
I can't recommend this clinic highly enough, and unfortunately, my words are unable to express the sheer gratitude I possess for Dr. Gandy, her staff, and her clinic. If you live around the Madison area and have a precious feline, DO NOT hesitate to take them to see Drs. Gandy and Belser!
Such a wonderful place. Very knowledgeable about the needs of cats. Willing to explain what is needed to have a happy healthy pet for as long as possible.
Quoted a certain amount for a checkup, update, and a few other things. They added random services and charged way more than what was originally agreed upon. It wont happen again. They don't like their dirty laundry hung out in the open because every negative/truthful review they get they have deleted wherever they can like Facebook. It's unfortunate cause it could be a great business, but they just don't get it. Judging by other reviews this is not an isolated problem. Take care of your customers, not just cats.
I needed someone to give my long-hair cat a bit of a shave for the warm summer months. He came back so cute and he wasn't injured or acting scared at all. I'll happily take him again next year!
