Saving grace here was that it was bug and pest free. Otherwise, the shower wouldn't get hot, the freezer/fridge was far too noisy and broken, the walls were thin and noisy (could make out normal conversations), breakfast was minimal continental, and the bed was too firm (for me). I've stayed at AirBnBs for half the price, at twice the luxury. I never want to repeat this experience again.

My wife, along with her sister and 85 year old mother drove over 8 hours out to Tuscon from San Diego for another sister's wedding this past Thursday. The room was prepaid by the bride /sister who lives in Tucson. Upon arrival they were denied entry into a room because the extremely rude man at the desk said that the room was paid for 2 people only, not 3 people. He continued to deny them entry to the room until he talked to the sister that prepaid for the room. The bride to be was at dinner party with her soon to be new family and was not able to answer her phone until later on in the evening. He made them wait for quite a while, eventually he offered them entry into a room if they paid $ 30.00 in cash, no credit card transaction was allowed. The room was old and dated. Bathroom door rubbed against the toilet so badly that it could not be fully opened. That made it difficult for Grandma to get in and out of the bathroom and maneuver her way to the toilet without falling.

When they asked Mr Wonderful where the ice machine was located, he pointed without giving a verbal response as he sat at his desk.

The walls are paper thin and the noise from the rooms close by woke up 85 year old Grandma who did not have her hearings aids with her!

Run don't walk away from this place, its old and dated. So is Mr Wonderful!! Grumpy and Useless!! I am self employed and have had many employee's over the last 35 years, This joker would have been kicked to the curb in 30 seconds if I had been there !!

We arrived around 1:30 am and we're definitely ready to get to the room so when we pull up the front doors are locked, which is normal for that late but I couldn't signal the guy who was vacuuming . Then, when I did finally get his attention, he nodded at me and continued to vacuum for about another 10 minutes! He completely ignored me! We were sitting out there, in the dark, just waiting for him to come to the door. When he finally did, he just brought me to the counter and said give me your credit card and your ID and then gave me a room key and said it's the second door there, amd pointed. He didn't tell me about breakfast or tell me about the checkout time, didn't give me any information at all. And in the advertisement it said there was a warm breakfast and it was just a continental breakfast so it was a cold breakfast and that was a major disappointment! It was an okay experience, as we weren't really there for the hotel and its amenities, we were there to hang out with each other and have a good time and then to do a job the next day. There was a bed, it wasn't necessarily clean. There was a stain in the middle of our bed when we got there, but it was a place to stay and so I'd say that it it was okay but it certainly wasn't a top-of-the-line experience. We won't be staying there again anytime soon!

I was working in town and needed to stay overnight. I got into the hotel lobby around 8:30pm to get the key to my room which my company had played for earlier in the day. The lady who greeted me at the front desk was very polite and was joined by a gentleman shortly there after. He and I had a brief conversation about the work I do and how long we would be in town. They directed me to my room and handed me my room key. The room was very clean and and the room was well appointed. I was very surprised to find out the next day that the hotel only has a two star rating!?!? The only possible reason I can figure is the price puts them in that category, well under a hundred dollars but way over two star quality experience. Everyone I work with will be surely staying here any time we are in town for business.

We've stayed here several times for 2-3 days at a time. We really like it. Very neat, clean, well furnished rooms, and plenty of parking. All rooms are no smoking. Love that the car can always be parked right outside room. Courtesy breakfast is fine, though hours (6 to 9 AM) are a little early for a late riser like me. This is apparently customary in the Tucson area.

Only reason I didn't rate 5 stars is because there are no restaurants or fuel without driving Though we found several options relatively close by.

Room was comfortable. Service was good. Breakfast was a little lacking. All rooms are non smoking which for us was a plus.

Great room and good costumer service. Walls and ceiling seem to be a little thin

The overall quality of the space was good: beds, bath, in-room fridge. However, the walls are thin enough that we could understand our neighbors' conversation. Add in a barking dog and we didn't rest very well for the two nights we stayed.
