We had a great time here. Very scenic and incredible sunrises! Get peace and quiet while being 10 minutes or so north of St. Ignace.

The kids really enjoyed Trick or Treating at the campground. The weather was unbelievable warm for late September in the Upper Peninsula. Spent the day on the beach swimming with the kids in Lake Huron.

Terrible, awful customer service. Kids couldn't even play or build sand castles because the beach sand smells like dog $@!%. Kids playground is built for toddlers. They have swings for older kids. Bathrooms and showers rooms are nasty. Will never return. Stay at Straits National Park if you want to camp. Amazing staff, facilities, and each site has a awesome firepit and picnic table. Plus the benefit of taking the trail to the beach or walking on the Mackinac bridge.

Had an awesome experience with the staff here. Clean facilities, dry fire wood for sale, and friendly neighbors. Only big downfall is the mud after all the rain they've gotten the last month or so. I called and was able to get a campsite, and was upgraded to beachfront on the spot. I'd come here again, bring my dogs, and have some fun. Thank you for your help saving a not so great situation! :)

My husband and I have camped here for years we've loved it. We brought our son and his girlfriend and we also have brought one of our granddaughters. My husband isn't with us anymore but we will be camping there again this year. My son and his daughters and I are planning on coming this month. A very nice camp ground.

Castle Rock offers amazing scenic views of the U.P. Admission is cheap, at a dollar per person it is definitely worth the climb.

Nice Place. Wooded sites, clean beach. Planning on going back regularly.
Close to mackinac without being crowded or over priced.
