I got to take my kid here via a school field trip for sales in a fundraiser. This place is lots of fun for kids. If you are looking for adrenaline rushes, this is not the place. Not an ultra-thrill ride amusement park. Food and drinks are iverpriced like all the others, no real surprise there, which is why 4 out of 5 stars. Pricing did not affect this review as I did not have to pay for entrance.
SUPER FUN! Affordable! If you have Fast Track, Totally worth the drive and fun for you and your family! I loved the Miniature Gold Course! My Boyfriend turned into a kid again when he went into the Arcade and saw the ride! He ran away from us because he was so excited to go on the ride! (My 13 yr old Neice and 14 yr old Nephew)! Good food and snacks around. We went late, it wasn't crowded on that Friday night. If last thing you do is Golf, you are in the Park till you finish your game=^.^=
Grandchildren, my daughter, and I enjoyed a family day at Castle Park! The attendant at the ticket window was very helpful and courteous by assisting me with my military discount and information on future promotions. The rides were fun and there was something to do for everyone in my group of all ages. My grandson enjoyed the corn dogs, bubble machine and bubble water guns we purchased. My oldest grandson and I enjoyed the arcades. He also turn in his tickets for a treat after having fun with the games and driving the car & motorcycle. We will be back for miniature golf! Cotton candy and popcorn was tasty. We'll try the funnel cake next time. The family went home with a smile from an enjoyable day/night at Castle Park.
This park has seen better days for sure. Friday, veterans day more than half of the attractions are closed, and everything is starting to look pretty beat up. It's not cheap to run an amusement park but maybe if you had all your stuff open people would actually come over here. They put a vendor and every one of the carnival games and food courts for the money grab. even the carousel is shut down it's starting to look pretty sad here too bad because it could be a really nice little theme park. if you have small kids and you just want them to run around for a couple hours you can't beat the price at 12 bucks but too bad because this place could be so much better
Castle park is fun. There's something for everyone to enjoy. I do have to say that the teenagers of today don't seem to genuinely have fun. I recently attended the castle dark mazes and there was a big group or teenagers who spent the whole time talking negatively about the costumes and the characters (monsters) at a different maze there was a little girl hitting the monsters. Other than that it was good.
Castle park was one of the scariest places I have visted. Very nice park. Good rides and food. I would encourage to go in Halloween.
I drove all the way from Riverside to Castle Park to take my 4 excited kids and it was closed! Mind you, this was one of the plans for entertainment on vacation here coming from Tracy, a 6 hour drive! Get it together with posting the accurate days and times that you're open and closed!!!
First time getting on the log ride. Was scared but enjoyed it. Took our son there and was very fun and loved. For that price for kids it was the best. We had went to the Pomona fair and it was very expensive. Son was not able to get in any rides because we were to full of food to join him. But the experience was awesome. I would go again
The park has seen better days but my son still had fun and you can't beat the value with $10 unlimited ride and golf tickets from Costco. Funnel cake was rubbery and chewy. The rides that were open were fun. Mini golf is always a highlight with 4 huge courses, but could definitely use some repairs and renovation.
I grew up around Riverside but moved to the East Coast after high school.I brought my son here while we are visiting the grandparents. I was reading reviews this morning and was concerned. But, I have to say, to all the people who complained-they need to take a step back. First, the park is 40 years old, it is not going to be pristine. Second, an unlimited pass online was 12.00. Third, the food is no more expensive than any other amusement park, it's part of going to an amusement park. Fourth, those who complained about no water on the golf course-it's Southern CA in the middle of a drought-the park is trying to be responsible. The food was slow, but that was a more a product of the customer-at least for me-than the park. Fifth, the arcade-yes, a few games weren't working, but that's very arcade. My son and I had a wonderful time which was what was important. Good job Castle Park!
My son and his cousins had a great time at this park. It's very age appropriate for their age group (4-5). Will definitely be going back.
This is a great way to entertain the kids for the day without spending a lot of money. However, you will spend a lot of money if you eat in the park. We packed a lunch in the cooler and went back to the car when we were ready to eat and the went back in when we were done eating.
Drove 1 1/2 to bring my daughter here website clearly stated they were open, we show up and they were closed. Such a waste of time, not to mention the disappointment. The least they could do is post accurate park hrs on their website.
It's OK. Arcade has more broken machines that take your tokens. Ticket counter skips so you have less tickets. Rides were circus status. Overall of it had money behind it, it might be great, but it's mostly run down. Sorry it's not the castle park of my childhood.
Great park but very unprofessional receptionist. I answer phones all day at my job too and never have I ever been as disrespectful as what I witnessed on the phone. When I called the second time I was told that one excuse for her rudeness was that maybe she didn't know all the right infoWELL THEN MAYBE GET SOMEONE WHO KNOWS OR INFORM ME THAT YOU DON'T KNOW AT THE MOMENT instead of giving an attitude. I'm not one to complain about employees and I am a very understanding person as i work retail and know that customers can be rude, but I never just give attitude to customers right off the bat and try to make them feel dumb which is what this receptionist did! I was denied to speak to a manager and the only reason I was told they would send an email to the manager for me was because I wouldn't drop it. I had to be very stern for the first lady to understand I wasn't going to just give up based off of the info she gave me (WHICH ACCORDING TO THE SECOND LADY, THE FIRST LADY DIDN'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT)
