Excellent food and service. Try the chicken parm, it's out of this world.

Food was great, staff friendly and attentive. Place feels like it's been there forever (probably has), and is the only real restaurant in Rensselaer.

Great for dinner with companions, or just popping in for a meal at the bar.

Don't let the exterior fool you, on the outside, inside is actually very nice and comfortable.
Gives the feel of a neighborhood Tavern but actually upscale quality local ingredients make this a fine dining establishment

Great food, big variety and very reasonably priced. Everyone who visits from out of town wants to go back. Nice atmosphere although a little loud when busy. Local bar. Worth the trip.

    Good lunch. Reasonably priced.
Parking lot was full. Had to park in the lot a few stores away.

Hidden gem of the Capital Region, with some of our favorite dishes around. The restaurant offers patio dining, or cozy interior with a vintage decor. Servers and bartenders are always friendly, and I don't believe I've gotten anything here I haven't loved. My go-to meal is Chicken Marsala. Has a thick, velvety Marsala sauce with chopped mushrooms, served home-style in bowl with tender chicken and shrimp, over ziti. It's a great example of classic comfort food, and the inclusion of the shrimp is wonderful. Easily 2-3 portions in the dish for about $20. Another great dish is the calamari, some of the best I've had. And the portion sizeits $10-12 for an appetizer portion that easily fed 5 of us, and the quality was great. The menu has an array of seafood, steak, Italian dishes, classic pub fare, sandwiches, etc. It's a great selection of items to choose from, and on weekends there is a raw bar on available at the bar a la carte, which I don't see in this area much. Raw oysters, clams, and massive shrimp available, and always seems fresh. Casey's is great, and that's all there is to say.

Outstanding service, very fair prices for portions. Friendly service. Salads were fresh, good variety on the menu. Split bar and dinning areas. Only negative was the volume of patrons over drowned the music.

Very good food, and great service too 4 stars because it's a tad pricey, but not too bad. You get what you pay for.
