Wonderful shelter. No-kill policy. Great care provided to animals. We adopted a stray from Cascades. Very happy with new addition to our family.

We just adopted a lovable puppy not even a week ago. We take him for a check up with the vet and he has multiple infections and scratches himself so bad he makes himself raw an bleed. we called and told chs about this and they denied everything said it was rough play with other dogs so they never did anything about it. I get other dogs play around but if they get hurt take care of it and if you see something strange on the dog take care of it or look into it as well!!! Never adopting from here again!! 😡

Who ever is in charge there needs to learn some manners. She has verbally attacked me, accusing me of exciting the dogs when in fact i was doing the exact opposite. Today i was trying to help a young boxer pup get his leg free from his harness which got wrapped up.

This is a beautiful shelter that is kept clean with helpful and friendly staffprobably the nicest shelter around the area. I was able to spend adequate time with the cats. However, when I went to inquire about adoption I was talked down to just because I didn't know that you HAVE to spend 2 weeks with the cat or they will be stressed out. It makes total sense but the way they talked to me was embarrassing and rude. Show some grace for first time adopters. Decided to adopt somewhere else.

I would give it higher. I have tried several times to adopt, but the process was very long. They are overfilled to capacity where they could not accept new animals. A good shelter should only be at half capacity at all times. The smell that they have is because they can not clean the cages thoroughly.

I like this place, but I would like to volunteer there but they only allow 16 year olds and up.

Beautiful building. All the cages were clean. Animals looked happy. They have a fenced in dog park that anyone can use. It also has water available for the dogs.

My husband and I have adopted both our cats.from there. Staff was very knowledgeable about how to introduce our cats gradually. Without their help I'm not sure if it would of worked.

This is the only off leash dog park I am aware of in the area. The pea gravel is not much fun, but keeps it low cost. I have only been a few times where my pooch did not have another to play with while we were there. Typically friendly folks and dogs at this pooch play area!
