It amazes me the train can make money. I've taken the train 5 times and this is the 2nd time a 3 hour train ride has taken 5+ hours. I guess it beats hitting 85 traffic to CharlotteI guess

Had a really great experience with the Amtrack station in Cary. I hadn't taken a train State side before and was a bit wary. Wariness was not required. The station was clean and neat. The representatives were very nice and answered all my questions. My train was on time. The fare was extremely reasonable and I was even allowed to bring my bike with me (bikes ride free to many NC locations so long as you reserve your spot in the bike rack in advance). I'm already planning new trips on the train.

Great station to hop aboard the train. Plenty of parking, clean, and modern. Staff is very helpful and polite. They are well organized and well. There are vending machines and food is available across the street at the gas station.

Seems to be a brand new train station. Excellent town to walk and or ride around in if you're waiting for another train.
