I personally have nothing but GREAT THINGS to say about my experience at the Carriage House! Their HOSPITALITY has been ABSOLUTELY wonderful and the Food is AWESOME and speaks for itself but it could put some 5 Star restaurant s to SHAME! I can't say enough good things about their service
The restaurant and motel has a SPECTACULAR spot located right next to the Delaware River and what a BEAUTIFUL location and Tranquil Spot! I HOPE that Anyone who red's this review has an opportunity to to come and stop by and experience a wonderful restaurant, Great food and AWESOME HOSPITALITY and Service!

Thank you Agnus and Attila! Despite no power or heat, you took us in the middle of the March 3rd Noreaster. You made us homemade Hungarian goulash and we played darts by flashlight. We will never forget the experience. Food and rooms were fantastic.

    Auf wieder sehn!

Carriage House is always open and always welcoming.
Once known in the olden days as Reeber's, this establishment is at a crossroads of Pennsylvania, New York and travelers who are wandering their way through the Delaware River Valley.
    Food wise recommendations:
    - Burger: large, delicious and good fries. Bun is a bit of a thing to navigate, but worth it.
    - Breaded Pork Cutlet: one of my favorites. Extra large piece(s), perfectly pounded town, breaded, and deep fried. Comes with apple sauce.
    - Goulash: so satisfying with homemade spaetzle.
-Porterhouse: very good! No its not the porterhouse you get at Smith & Wollenskeys, but this is really well prepared, delicious flavor and can't beat the price.

Can't think of a friendlier and steady local restaurant/drinking destination. The menu has roots in Germanic/Hungarian type cusine, but also features delicious pub food fare as well.

Old-fashioned decor, great German cuisine. Prices are a bit high for the area but portions are large and everything is made in the kitchen. The fresh bread is baked daily and delicious. Schnitzel is fantastic.

They offer a bar menu and dinner menu, both of which are excellent.

I've been coming here periodically for the last 6 years. The food is consistently delicious. Very wholesome and some good live music sometimes.

My husband and I brought our son to circle park and decided to take a nice ride to see a change of scenery. We stopped at the carriage house for the first time and not only was it our first but it will be our last. We chose to sit outside. Some woman that didn't even seem to work there brought us 3 menus but they were lunch menus at 5:00 at night the waitress didn't come out for quite a while but eventually I asked for a kids menu seeing as our son is 6 years old. The waitress took our drink order my son and I got unsweetened ice tea with lemon and we asked for real sugar because there was no condiments on the table. We got our tea but with no lemon or sugar. I reminded the waitress and she came back with one tiny piece of lemon. My tea tasted like fruit loops and it took forever for refills. Finally 20 minutes later the waitress took our order. I ordered the turkey BLT on chiabatta bread because that's what the menu says and I was told that they didn't have chiabbatta and suggested I have it on a sub roll. I chose a wrap instead but once we ordered it took a full 40 minutes for our food. Some guy brought out forks knives and one napkin for 3 people and said the food would be right out. It didn't come out for 40 minutes!!!!! . It was quite difficult using one napkin considering my husband ordered messy wings. I ate my food with a fork and knife so I didn't need a napkin for much. finally the waitress brought our food out and she brought out one plate at a time. Said my fries and wrap was done but yet it didn't come out for an extra 10 minutes. The thought of my food sitting out for that long made me sick. My son liked my wrap so he ate most of it and I ate my husbands leftover 3 chicken wings. Left hungry and very disappointed! We watched people come in on motorcycles and leave after 15 minutes of not being noticed. I'm a manager at a restaurant and would never treat customers so carelessly. More help is needed because one person was running the whole show. Poor girl.

Last year I would've said awesome. The one bartender was awesome, and so helpful. Love the avacado egg rolls, cheese steaks, calamari, etc. However, the last two times have been a train wreck. A waitress left us sitting for an hour without our food the last time. Today we waited 40 minutes with no help from the waitress. Bartender said they were outta the beers I asked for. Not a big deal until they didn't have the food on their menu either. On our way back to NJ to see if their other location is doing any better ! The people working at the barryville location today should be ashamed of themselves.way to ruin someone's hard work.

One of my favorite restaurants in the area. Great goulash, beer and mellow vibe. Their burger is huge, home ground beef. Delicious. Friendly staff and they always seem to be open when you need a drink and bite to eat.
