Amazing! From communication prior to our stay, to the welcoming feel when we arrived, to the fantastic breakfasts our stay was outstanding. You can not find better accommodations in the area. I will definitely make this my go to place from now on when we are in the Asheville area! Thank you for making us feel do at home.

My partner and I stayed in this B&B as our first B&B experience, and I think we found the best one we could ever find. The detail was amazing, they cooked around my allergies and gave us everything we needed to enjoy our stay in Asheville. The room was lovely and comfortable. I mentioned that I played the piano and he invited me to play on a beautiful old piano that I had not seen. We felt right at home the entire time, and would stay here again if we were not already planning on moving to this wonderful city very soon! 100/100

I booked my room at The Acorn bed and breakfast based on scores I found on several travel sites. After staying at the bed and breakfast if there were a score higher than 5 stars out of 5 I would easily rate higher. Upon arrival our host was very friendly and the room is pretty nice, but it was the personal touch that touches that made it stand out. The breakfast was amazing and considering how close this was between Asheville and Hendersonville the price was a steal. My wife and I were getting away for the weekend for anniversary and we told them that we were working on building a house. We also let them know that we were working on installing a copper penny floor in one of our bathrooms. On the way out they gave us a personalized gift bag with some chocolate and I noticed that it was also filled with pennies. He told me when we look at the floor we are putting in could remind us of the Acorn bed and breakfast. I was really expecting the sites we saw in Asheville to be what made this weekend memorable, I had no idea that our stay at the Acorn bed and breakfast would be what we remember most. We will definitely be coming back again and bringing our friends with us.

We are visiting for our 12th Anniversary and Gene is the best host. Wonderful smoothie and French Toast casserole for breakfast. Yum. We will try to be back and will recommend.

Never have my husband and I stayed in such a homey B&B. Gene was ultimate host, very informative and entertaining when invited into the conversation, to say nothing of his gourmet breakfasts. Staying in a room with the bathroom down the hall just added to our feeling of being at home, as did watching TV in a separate room. Special touches here and there as well as personal Disney collections and other memorabilia caught the eye and warmed the heart throughout the home.

This is a GREAT BnB tucked away in Hendersonville, NC. The house is exquisitely decorated and maintained. Gene is a trained / very experienced chef who puts many delights on your table for breakfast. Many amenities that are commonly overlooked at other places are not overlooked here. AAAAA+. You won't be disappointed here. David, Beth and S.
