Made reservation 6 months in advance. Gave us the worst.room in the place because a group was coming in for ONE NITE and they just could NOT change our room. Traffic noise outside. Cat urine smell on the shared porch. Te staff was very sorry we were unhappy but did nothing to remedy the situation.
Pick the Berlin Grande. Stay away from the Carlisle!

If you're looking for quaint, quiet and relaxing, the Carlisle In Walnut Creek is the place. We come here at least once a year to experience the beautiful amenities, gorgeous countryside and wonderful people. Staff bend over backwards to make your visit wonderful and the scenery helps melt the stress away.

We have been staying here for about 15 years. The rooms are lovely and I notice on this visit that they have updated, in particular the bathrooms, beautiful tile and step in glass enclosure shower. The staff is kind and the views as always are stunning. Come and unplug in Ohio's Amish country, the food, shopping, and quiet peace are refreshing.

Organized and attended a band banquet. Staff is very easy and pleasant to work with. The evening of the event, I was able to relax and enjoy as they had everything taken care of!

Great views and clean room. Nice continental breakfast, but can be upgraded to a buffet at Der Dutchman nextdoor if you prefer.

The rooms are always nice and clean, and the staff is wonderful! Such a relaxing place to stay! Plus, a great continental breakfast, probably the best I've ever gotten at a hotel.
