Do not live here. I didn't have a single complaint with them until we moved out to our first home. Charged us $175 to clean the counter tops. Outrageous.
$45 to clean the refrigerator that leaked water from the freezer the entire time we lived there, we had to keep a bowl in the fridge the entire 13 months we lived there because it never got fixed.
They don't include your water cost into your rent until the last week of the month, so you never know what your actual rent will be, because it's not the advertised price.
100% will never live here again, I recommend you stay away also. Terrible, greedy management.

Edit: I understand the need to make it look brand new again, but seriously $175 to clean counter tops? You've got to be kidding me. $45 dollars to clean the fridge?! Insane.
I have contacted the office and left a message with Emily, on December 6th. I have yet to receive any call back. This response is from the 10th.

We have lived here for over 3 years. The previous management was easier to work with. If there are emergencies it is hard to get maintainence to your unit in less then 3 hours. Prices go up greatly each year and there are always new additional fees. I would say great short term but not for the long haul.

The apartment itself is pretty nice with the layout and such. However, over a course of 7 months, our apartment has flooded twice. Getting into the carpet, hallways, and kitchen. This was due to lack of plumbing maintenance and even lead to sewage backup. The electric is exuberantly high due to the fact that they don't charge you based on your individual usage. Maintenance is hit or miss with timing and attitude. We requested maintenance and there were times that it was simply overlooked. The amenities are nice, it is great to have a pool and workout center, but the issues far outweigh the benefits.

It's descent. Work requests are usually tended to pretty quick. Reasonable pricing for what you get offered. All my neighbors are cool. We all keep to ourselves though.

Don't treat your apartment like you own it, and you should get most of your security deposit back. They dinged me on the oven needing to be cleaned. Don't regret living there a bit. Maintenance was timely. Apartments are just fine.

Lived here for a year, lease is up in September. maintenance checks never bothered me and were very much appreciated. never really had to call maintenance for anything. I had a bee's nest above my patio, which they removed fairly quickly. replacement washer and dryer took fairly long, but had to be ordered over black Friday weekend. we had water spewing from an a.c. vent, and the guy came and said "yeah, sometimes Canterbury sucks at this stuff." did everything ourselves after that, like unplugging the drains and fixing the sinks. parking has always been a huge issue for someone like me who works nights, and we were supposedly placed in the quiet part away from college students, but parties and loud neighbors are still very much prevalent. many times I've been woken up by someone playing excruciatingly loud music at 9 am in their car. I could hear every step my upstairs neighbors took. and the people in the car port next to me constantly park over the line into my space, or just far enough to where they are still in their lines, but far enough to block me out of my space, which security will not and can not deal with (and after several notices refused to tow them). overall, I think the apartments are nice for students or those in their 20's, just not the best for people who like peace and quiet, or those who do their partying elsewhere or work late and like to park somewhat close to their home.

I had a beautiful 2 bedroom 2 bathroom facing the golf course. I lived there for a little over two years and it was a wonderful experience. I had issues with pipes busting when I first moved in and pipes backing up. When I called maintenance they were always there quickly to resolve this issue. My only complaint was how expensive the utilities were. I was paying 150-175 a month for water and 210 a month for electric. If the utilities were reasonable I would have stayed a couple more years for sure! I would recommend Canterbury Green Apartments to my family and friends with the disclaimer the utilities are going to be expensive.

For the price and location it isn't a bad place to be. But don't expect anything above and beyond here. The service for repairs is usually very speedy.

This place is a trap! It looks nice, has amazing amenities and spacious apartments but looks are deceiving. They loop you in with all this stuff and give you this false sense of security that you made the right choice by moving in but when you try to move out, they rack up the maximum amount of charges possible.
Only move here if you have lots of money. My one bedroom apartment was WAY overpriced and on top of that, you pay all the utilities that you'd have to pay living in a regular house, what nonsense!
If you lose your job, dont have any savings, and have trouble paying, they don't give a crap about your situation AT ALL. They will evict you at the end of the month, no exception.
Also, a lot of those reviews with five stars sound like paid or fake reviewers. Do not be fooled, this place may have been "remodeled" but they just slapped a new face and some new paint on the steaming pile that it was.

I was paying 635 a month for a outdated 1 bed 1 bath with Windows still from the 70's leaking air and molding my curtains in the winter from poor insulation. When I was approaching the end of my lease come spring I had a note on my door that read "Spring into saving renew your lease now and your rent only goes up $20 per month". . I actually thought it was funny since they are telling me I am saving yet will be paying more. About 10 months later I bought a house and called to see if they would work with me on the fee when breaking the lease and no they didn't at all. They charged me 200% of one months rent $1,300 plus 400 for not giving them a full 30 days notice I had only given them 2 weeks lol. I now have a bill in my hand for $1,700 they will not work with you at all. They already have someone living there it's not like they lost money. I didn't ask for a free ride or anything just a little help. Thank god I'm done with that nonsense. They try to keep you there and really throw the book at you if you try and leave. That's why I'm leaving negative review because they were so cold and not willing to budge at all.

I am a former resident to Canterbury Green and I am happy to see that people have had better experiences than when I lived there. The advantages to this community are that it has many amenities and was located right by my college campus. My leasing consultant's name was Joni and she was not very kind to me or my roommates and was often times very hard to reach. I will also warn you if you like having your heat on in the winter, prepare to have a 200 dollar electric bill because that was the case for me. If you have maintenance issues, do not always expect it to be fixed right away as there was a time we had to wait three days before an electrical issue was fixed. If you are trying to save money (especially while in college), I do not recommend this place because it is expensive. If I had more money, I would consider living here. Again, it's been months since I've lived there and it seems like it's been improving so thumbs-up on that. But if you want to be cost-savvy, you can get the same or more for less and live somewhere else.
