Wow, got here on time and literally sat in the waiting room for 40 minutes. Are you serious? There was nobody here when I got here now the room is full.

Service is notoriously slow, have been here twice in a room checked in and we were forgotten completely between shift change. In recent years I suppose it's been a little better. But if you want prompt service is recommend the drive to Kokomo, most likely be quicker even including your drive time!

I have been in six different hospitals in my life and this was one of the best. My doctor and surgeon were excellent. And, the nurses seemed kind and truly caring except for one older dark haired nurse with long hair. She was definitely in the wrong job! Overall, everybody was nice and seemed concerned about the patient. The worst experience I had at Logansport Memorial was on a separate visit for a colonoscopy. It was embarrassing to say the least. I was still awake when they wheeled me into the procedure room & flipped over to get in position. Then, when I did wake up, they had me sit on a toilet trying to fart with the door open, so they could watch me while they cleaned up the room.

Dr in the ER was kind, but not focusing on todays pain and problem. I asked for a blanket, never got one. Was told i would get meds for pain and 2 hours later, i still haven't. Check-in had me fill in a paper then asked me all the questions anyway. It took me 30 min to check in and i was doubled over in pain. No triage nurse. No ultrasound tech on call. Had the dr not been compassionate i would have asked to transfer to kokomo's hospital. The dr told me twice i would get a specific med and neither time it came. Just before going home the nurse gave me two pain killers that i didnt want and didnt help. Then she forgot to remove my IV line so i had to knock on the ER door til someone helped me. All i could think was "kokomo is 30 min, Lafayette is 40, even peru is 18 more min.." consider those things before you stop here.

Do NOT see Dr. Murray for Endometriosis!
He did my discovery lap in Dec 2010 and I NEVER got to see what he found. He just happened to 'leave the photos in his OR locker' during the time I had my post-op appointment. I have tried since then to get the images and have been told I cannot have them. Not even my new Dr. can have them, so I'm going to have to go under the knife again so he can get his own images.
Dr. Murray also treated me like I was 10 and didn't understand my own body. I'm pretty sure I know if I am in pain or not! He talked to me like he was way above me. People with a chronic illness like this need someone who will listen and at least pretend to care.
He sent me home with a prescription for a 6 month injection treatment and didn't even tell me how to inject. Not to mention the injections were for prostate cancer so all I got from them was more aches, hot flashes, night sweats, thrashing dreams, and teenage acne.
