Our first time at a B&B. I don't really see how we will ever go back to hotels. Melanie is the best hostess ever, she definitely puts her loving special touches on everything . Talk about being spoiled. Food is out of this world!!! Very nice cozy homey feel. We can't wait to go back again. Love this place.

Lovely! The hostess was very friendly and really seems to love what she does. The breakfast was amazing! We have a limited diet and she made us dishes we could eat that also tasted great. The room was small but clean and comfortable with an in-room bathroom. The bed was comfy; we both slept well. Will definitely recommend the Candlelight Inn!

My husband and I spent our Anniversary weekend here. Melanie has a very upbeat,positive and bubbly attitude. We love the way she made us feel at home. I felt peace & serenity with our stay. She baked the most delicious sweets. Breakfast was scrumptious!!!!!

If I could rate this 10 stars, I would. My husband surprised me with a first time stay at a bed and breakfast for our anniversary. Our experience here by far exceeded our expectations. The rooms are so adorable, comfy and clean. Melanie and her hospitality was just exceptional. She makes you feel right at home with delicious home cooked breakfast, cozy rooms and her amazing kindness. We truly felt like we were family and not just guests. We can't wait to come visit again!

Quaint, exceptionally clean and Melanie genuinely hospitable. Scrumptious breakfasts and treats.the aroma of fresh baked cookies was the perfect touch. We arrived very late in the evening but we were still made to feel welcome. Don't know how she manages it all but she does!

What a great time I had at the Candlelite Inn today. Great service along with homemade goodies. Just wonderful. I also loved the new interchangable jewelry they have added. Such a great addition to a lovely Inn.

Very cozy and quaint Inn, delicious snacks available at all hours, the breakfast is amazing. You MUST try the blueberry French Toast. Room and bathroom were a bit small but there are many other areas of the Inn you can sit/play games in.

This is my favorite bed and breakfast! The hostess is one of the friendliest people and she thrives to make everybody's stay enjoyable! The breakfast was amazing and there were so many choices! If you are going there for a special occasion, she always tries to make things extra special. It is also in a great location, not too far from great restaurants and a beautiful lakefront. We will be going back again for my birthday on New Year's eve! I recommend this bed and breakfast to everybody!

Wonderful in every way. The breakfast was amazing, fresh fruit, muffins, French toast, baked cheesy egg and sausage, coffee, tea, orange juiceit was amazing. The hosts are so accommodating and welcoming, I mentioned I was a vegetarian and she made a special cheesy egg bake. Our room was very nice, complete with wine glasses and even a corkscrew. This was our first experience at a bed and breakfast and it was so nice. On the way home we discussed coming back again. I would 100% recommend the Candlelite Inn, wonderful experience. It was also in walking distance to downtown and the beach.

We had a wonderful stay at the Candlelite Inn B&B! They truly thought of everything you could possibly need and then some. We had to be at the SS Badger by 7am the next morning to cross Lake Michigan and I thought maybe we could snag a muffin on the way out. Well, Melanie and hubby went above and beyond to put out the most amazing breakfast spread. Everything was delicious. I only wish I would have been more hungry to experience everything they offered. Top notch!
