Second time we've stayed at Cartier and in the King Suite (which is beyond amazing!) I love being able to have coffee on the balcony and soaking in the jacuzzi at the end of the day. Breakfast is always delicious and everyone is so friendly and accommodating. I don't have one bad thing to say about this place. If you're in Ludington, you should definitely stay here at least once!!
The home is wonderful! Attention to detail is obvious and the cleanliness is exceptional. They go above and beyond what is expected to deliver excellent customer service. The owners, Sue Ann, Gary and Andrew are kind and welcoming. You will not find a better Bed and Breakfast!
The tour was very informative and the house is amazing! The owners son Andrew is very knowledgeable of previous owners. Original windows and floors. Many different woods and tiles and bricks used in the building of house which are well maintained. I recommend this tour for adults. I plan to go again. Great bed and breakfast too.
Simply gorgeous house and gardens, with every detail attuned to guest comfort and luxury. I roomed here with my two young daughters, and each of us were delighted with the details and delights of the stay. From freshly baked cookies in the afternoon, to an exquisite gourmet breakfast in the morning, we were only furthered impressed by a well-equipped coffee and tea bar made accessible to guests at any hour. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable, and full of lovely perks and amenities. Your stay is highly personalized and you feel welcomed, pampered, and fully at ease from the minute you arrive. Parking and access to the Inn are easy and stress-free. Each and every one of the staff members of the Inn are friendly, welcoming, and accessible. Each of the guest rooms are unique, and I might personally recommend the Blue Silk room not just for its beauty and comfort, but for the little added historical mystery a part of it provides. It is obvious that the family currently running the Cartier Mansion (only the third owners since 1905, which must say something) are truly vested in providing each and every one of their guests a special experience, and on that they are exemplary. They provide a lovely, comforting guest experience, and also a very family friendly one, which is somewhat rare in my experience. The downstairs rooms include plenty of games, books, musical instruments, and also well maintained garden areas. We will definitely stay here again, on our next visit to beautiful Ludington. We felt safe, happy, and very pampered during our stay here, and that is worth a lot.
We were in town for a Todd and Brad Reed Photography workshop that was hosted here at the mansion. The owners are wonderful hosts. The building itself is lovely, beautifully maintained and steeped in history. We stayed in the Light House room. Very nice. The food was exquisite. Highly recommend!
Excellent place to stay in Ludington. Every detail is well thought out and the hosts are wonderful!
Best B&B in town!! Love the history of the house and the inside is amazing, every room was unique. We stayed in the king suite and everything about the room was great. I especially loved the large balcony area and the view of town. The staff was friendly and made us feel at home. I'm not a big breakfast person but the food was fantastic and I didn't mind trying something new. We will definitely be back!
We really enjoyed our stay at the elegant and charming Cartier Mansion. The hosts were very kind and helpful. The Mansion has a lot of original woodwork dating back to 1905. Really cool place, highly recommended!
Wonderful style and excellent service. I was only there for a reception but I would stay there given the opportunity
