I've been around the Baraboo are my whole life and only stayed here the first time about two weeks ago. It was fantastic. Clean rooms, comfy beds, reasonable price. Only downer was there wasn't breakfast, though it said there would be.

Rooms had garbage under the bed, the tv and phone didnt work and black mold in the bathroom. Heaps of garbage are scattered around the premises and they couldnt even bother to de-ice the stairs. This place is filthy.

We have gotten a room here through one of the apps for discounted hotels. So that's the only reason it was a decent price. The rooms are very dated. They honestly could use some renovations. The TV in my room didn't work it was an older box TV at that. The hot water did not work. And we ended up using our own sheets and blankets thankfully we were in the middle of moving when we stayed there and had them in our car because there's were dirty. Only reason I'm giving this a 3-star rating is because of the location and the staff was friendly

Im halfway through my 6 night 7 day stay and i want to go home early or find a different hotel to stay in. Yes this place is that bad, when my wife and i got here, staff was friendly but not helpful. The room was sloppy and dirty with black hair on the couch, jacuzzi, and bathroom walls. Even the bed sheets had dirt on them. And now i come back after a day out and my room is not cleaned and no staff, i repeat no staff is on sight. This is my worst hotel experience ever. If you want cheap and just a place to stay then this “might” work for you but dont expect much from this place.

Decent motel the bed is the only reason for 3 out of 5. The bed was not very comfy(I like a very from mattress). The staff was good and the price was definitely right.

Front desk person was friendly. Overall, the exterior is run down and unsidecworn out. Inside, as we made our way to our room, the hallway had a cat litter smell, but the room did not smell. No coffee pot in room was a disappointment as was the continental breakfast; even the coffee was luke warm and weak. The bed was uncomfortable, no support, and the carpet felt dirty. Remodeling and upgrades are sorely needed. We paid $89 for the night and expected more.

Just stayed here under the new management. Room was spacious and clean. Loved the balcony and the pool was a nice size and clean
Nice green area for all to enjoy.

Room had mold on the bathroom ceiling, no smoke alarm and manager used foul language towards me when confronted. Rooms are old and way dated.. Had a alarm clock that didn't work correct unless I messed with the switch. My employer paid for a 7 day week but moved me after 5

stayed here with 15 other bikers, we stayed in the lower area, the men who were at rhe front desk were pleasant, i got my room and it had two double beds, the room was clean and like most motels the pillows were flat.
the bathroom was very small , very tight.
the mattress was firm and the room was quiet
    i did get a good night's rest.
breakfast was toast and dry cereal and lousey coffee, but for a dry, quiet place to stay, it was satisfactory
