Camp Wyandot is more than a summer camp location. It's an accepting, inviting, and fun place that brings people together. Children and adults are celebrated for their individuality while learning to work together. Activities such as archery, swimming, boating, and hiking give children the opportunity to disconnect from technology and reconnect to nature in a safe and nurturing environment.

I love this camp. I went here as a camper, CIT, counselor, and now serve on the Board as a volunteer. As soon as you drive down the winding road leading into camp you can tell it is a magical place where memories are created that last a lifetime.

Camp Wyandot is a great way for kids to 'disconnect' the technology, learn empowering skills and make life long memories and personal connections. Counsel fire was a moving experience, one I highly recommend. For kids and families alike, Camp Wyandot can't be beat!

I'm so happy to be able to have my kids attend the same camp that made such an impact on me when I was a kid. Camp Wyandot is such a special place. Just like everything in nature, all of the kids at Wyandot are made to feel they are perfect just the way they are. The best thing about camp for me as a kid was that the counselors were goofy and unique, and that uniqueness was celebrated. That really rubbed off on the campers, who felt accepted for they are. That spirit persists today, and my kids report loving their week at camp each year. As a parent, I love knowing my kids are not using devices and computers, and are relating to other kids in their cabin in "real life," and learning to be self sufficient. Wyandot emphasizes the outdoor skills and playing in the beautiful natural world in the Hocking Hills. Canoeing, archery, swimming, cooking over an open fire, hiking and weekly ceremonial closing fire are things that make it special.
