We were called at about 4:50 on the day of our arrival and were told there was a mistake and our reserved spot was now not available.
We were actually across the street at the Publix grocery when we received the call. We were not given advanced warning so as to make other arrangements. We were left stranded in Key Largo and were given no options.
Please beware that Calusa Campground and RV resort is the type of extablishment that leaves customers stranded after traveling across the country to stay at there.
This was during the week between Christmas and New Years.
Your reservation evidently means nothing to them.
I worked security here started off kind of hard because I had no car use to caught the bus here and work until sunrise. This job gave me the motivation to get my college degree. You'll get over time the pay was 9 an hour my team at the time was amazing. Unfortunately they hired outside security
Nice lol place to stay they have 24 hour security
Really good for a weekend getaway staying the people here are great is not that expensive. The place has a pool , public bathrooms, basketball court, playground, and parking for boats.
Best trailer park in key largo. My family and i come every year. The park is huge, nice marina and the staff is friendly and helpfull. Would recomend to anyone.
This place is so cozy. The pool feels wonderful, the tennis court is awesome. The staff.i couldnt ask for a better one!!!
This place used to be so nice and cool to stay we used to rent 2 to 3 weeks a year here, but there has been an influx of lowerend society. Im not racist I am of cuban decent but the cubans that have taken over this place have destroyed it with loud music, speeding golf carts and just poor like atmosphere you would see in a 3rd world country. I once considered purchasing a spot there but.. thank the lord I didnot.
Not really a campground. There building homes all around the campground. We literally had our RV parked between two building. No gas golf carts allowed.
This place is relaxing, and now with new management there have been improvements.
It is not a campground but the pool was nice and heated the facilities were nice
Great place to be in the sun! Pool is clean, a little on the warm side, but that isn't a complaint. Great location with a really great outdoor Fruit Market right next door. Very close to John Pennecamp National park, very close to Publix Super Market and many restaurants and stores for whatever you need. Great views of the Gulf of Mexico from the observation deck in the pool area, very clean and safe campground, although it shouldn't be called a campground because there are very expensive RV's in this park.
We highly recommend this place!
They are not honest in business they let you make the reservation to collect the money then you put restrictions so you can not enter and then excuses not to return the money.
