This place is one of the nicest in the Keys. I have been a regular camper here for the last 10 years. The condo association members that run this place keep everything meticulously maintained, right down to the camp sites themselves. Another Google Maps review slandered their pool and shuffleboard courts and as soon as I read it I knew it had to be a lie. The pool is very clean and kept at a nice temperature. As for the rest, take a look at my pictures if you like.

Yes. Peggy, the front desk manager, can be bit gruff, especially during the busy holiday season, but overall she is helpful and professional, even if she could stand to work on her manners sometimes. All the other staff are very nice and professional.

Admittedly, the beach isn’t the greatest for swimming and that’s why they have the pool, but the same can be said for most of the other campgrounds in the middle and upper Keys built around a marina. If you want beach, there are plenty of nice beaches just up the road.

We stayed couple of months ago. In a tent site.
Things that we like about this place that has good amenities, pool, playground, laundry and the most a boat ramp in site. Water and electric hoop up in site.

Horrible customer service - some old lady Diane and the called" Manager PEGGY" that sounded like a guy on the phone denied availability for the camping. I had called 10 mins before making the reservation and they had plenty of space. bunch of ignorants answering the phones there.

Wonderful place. Chill and laid back. Guy in the office was really nice. Don't leave your car/truck keys out over night cause the coons will take them!!!

It's a cute little campground. Wish it had a beach. It has a pool & swings for the kids but that's about it. You can go fishing by the docks. The trees provide nice shade on the campsites.

Not what their website portrays. Very deceptive & money hungry.
We are seasoned campers from FL & thought we'd try this campground after viewing it online & calling them prior. Although the RV campsites are roomy, we knew we made a mistake. The pool was 90 degrees & the people who were in it from up North said they could hardly stand to be in it for more than a few minutes & the husband said it was gross & wouldn't go in. Besides the heat, I noticed mold & chipping on the bottom of the pool. When we originally called we were told they had horseshoes , shuffleboard, basketball & and a beach. Well, she (Peggy) failed to mention that the shuffleboard had weeds growing in the cracks & water puddles, looking as if they hadn't been played on in years. She also failed to mention that the basketball hoop was broken and that we weren't allowed to use it for fear it would fall on us. The supposed horseshoe pit was a complete joke being that it wasn't there at all or they had the filthy, pathetic, rotted wood beanbag toss in its place. Furthermore, they fail to tell you that everything requires a $20 deposit, from getting a ball to play with to leaving the premises after 11. If you want a cable box, it's $40. They show a dog online at a campsite with its owners, but don't mention that the weight limit is 40 pounds anywhere on the website. Deceptively, they keep calling their "swimming area" on the Atlantic a beach, but when you get here and actually view it, there's a crocodile warning sign!!! It's a nasty, swampy area among the mangroves. This leaves absolutely nowhere to cool off and nowhere to swim & basically nothing to do unless you have other plans to leave daily and snorkel or fish elsewhere, which defeats the purpose for families with children like us. To make matters worse, after we kindly, but firmly voiced our feelings, this campground refused to give us a refund even though she signed off on a receipt that we physically left the next day. This was the first time we've ever had to do this. We paid for 1 night & will fight to get the rest. We went further south to Jolly Roger Campground, who I would highly recommend. By the way, Jolly Rover Campground strives to keep their campers happy & say they give refunds if need be. Regardless though, fulfillment of contract is key regardless. Deliver what you say you're going to deliver or describe what you have. Be honest & don't hold campers hostage. Live & learn. Don't camp here unless you don't have any interest in going in a pool or the gulf while you're there.

Do not camp out at this campsite, management are a bunch of crooks, and are not honest. My wife and family stayed at this place two nights before moving to Calusa Campground. I will not go into details of the visit other than the managing board has no business ethics and likes to cater to a select few at the park.

Inexpensive, lots of room for your RVs and Mobile Homes. You can rent a lot or a Mobile Home. The place is located adjacent to a Plaza with a Publix Supermarket, a Kmart a liquor store and several other businesses. A nice size pool and a kids pool is the alternative to a "Private Beach area", which is just an area clear of rocks but full of seaweed.

Very nice campground, clean and well maintained. Nice scenery and we had the best view of the water at our waterfront site. Had a small dock on the site, which was great for fishing from. The pool was about the best part of the our stay, very clean and warm. Easy to navigate at this campground with a 30 ft. Motorhome. We would definitely stay her again.

The management was lacking, and the tent site we had was tiny, this could be an amazing place with a little more effort and care. After driving 11 hours in the night we arrived early and asked if the site was empty so we could get set up and catch up on sleep. The receptionist replied that it was occupied and there was nothing she could do to help us. When we did get into our spot, our neighbor informed us that it was in fact empty overall the facilities were very nice and I would love to spend more time there if it weren't for the apathy of the staff. The long term residents were friendly and helpful
