Nice small hole in the wall place at the marina in the FL Keys for a nice bite to eat and some drinks. Outside seating is nice cause it always warm there and being at a marina its on the water so the views are nice too. Prices is as expected, about average and the food is worth a try. For a quick bite to eat after boating all day this place is good.
Was one of my favorite places in Key Largo. Love their covered, glassbottom (actually plexiglass, but cool) deck on the water.
Often has very good live music. Fun to feed the fish with the oatmeal they have at the hostess station, tip: a pinch at a time is they way to go.
The last 2-3 times I have been there in 2017 I was quite disappointed with the food. New chef? Chefs night off?
House salad was $7 and you definitely get more than you pay for. Delicious! I love swamp cabbage. Enjoyed the conch fritters as well. Drinks are strong yet tasty; lots of options. We came here for Thanksgiving but didn't order any of the specials.i tried the deep fried key lime pie and LOVED it. Maybe I'm just a fatty though 😂 Didn't really see the glass bottom much from our seating but loved the views of the marina, looking at the nice boats.
Good place for families. Reasonably priced. Food is reasonably good. Nothing spectacular. But pretty good all around.
Wasn't very impressed. Service was good food expensive and lacking flavor. Watered down drinks and way over priced.
Looking for a waterfront spot to eat in Key Largo? It's The staff is friendly. The menu is extensive with a variety of choices. Seafood, Mexican, Latin American, Italian, Fresh salads there is something for everyone. Even a good kids menu! And the drinks there is a good list of tropical cocktails as well as wines and beer.
We had delicious mussels in a savory broth, a Greek salad, Scallops with Risotto and a Hot dog. Next up Key Lime Pie for dessert. The right amount of tangy, sweet & creamy.
It has been here since 1950, so they must be doing something right!
Great happy hour prices. Food and drinks are good and almost half price of the other local bars. Service is usually prompt and friendly. Nice atmosphere and waterside seating. It's a view of the marina which is not that exciting but there a loads of fish under the bar which is glass bottom.
A casual and fun marina bar and restaurant, my friends and family always try to visit the Pilot House when we are in Key Largo.
From great food and live music to the plexiglass floors where you sit above and watch the fish - and can feed them - there is something for everyone. I like watching the boats slip into the restaurant via the marina.
My favorite times to go are when Florida Lobster or stone crab are in season.
The atmosphere is greatthe food is seasoned to perfection. And the prices are very reasonable.
Good food and great service. The staff remembers your name and your favorite drink. No wonder the locals are there every afternoon. D.J., Jann, Nikki and the rest make you feel at home.
Our favorite local spot
DJ is a kickass bartender. Awesome food, good happy hour deals, football/games on every TV and on the water. Can't beat it!
We decided to go here for the Harvey Fish Sandwich that was featured in Drive-Ins and Dives. It was completely worth it. They had an excellent drink selection with some local brews on draft. The location is away from the main strip. There is glass flooring throughout the outdoor deck.
The server Gary was fun, entertaining, and a well full of knowledge on his place of work in addition to the local area since he grew up in the Key's. The wife and will recommend this place to anyone that comes to the area on vacation.
Food is fresh. Service is fast. Great views. Plus you can purchase fresh seafood to take home. Stone crabs were marvelous!
