We went here every summer growing up. Good family time with a warm family friendly environment. Few hours drive from Key West, but we would make it a day trip. We still visit Caloosa some summers, as now our family takes turns.

Caloosa Cove is in a quiet area but is not far from all of the things you might like to do in Islamorada. This is not a hotel though so don't expect maid service, etc. You can pay $25 for service if you'd like which is nice. There is not a beach at this point of the island but the resort has a little sandy area with palm trees and lounge chairs. Perfect for relaxing with one of their fantastic cocktails! We really enjoyed the pool and all of the amenities there (bar, hardware store, convenience store, etc). This is a great little complex for families or couples looking for a quiet getaway!

We love it here. The rooms could use a little updating, but we spend so much time out at the pool or beach that it is not a big deal.

Clean and convenient. Hotel rooms are located in unoccupied time-shares. Good swimming pool, small sand beach with no bathing access. Good for a relatively inexpensive stop on the way to Key West.

It's secluded and near ocean. You can see ocean and pool from nearly every room. Complete lack of services, no maid, no restaurant or shop even resort office closes at 5. So you are on your own which can be good or bad thing.
