The owners of this hotel were very nice and a excellent customer service. The rooms were very big and very clean. The location is closer to the state prison. Good for working and visiting.

We arrived tired nights of our road trip week at Joshua Tree Park. The welcome was particulary warm! One night in a king size bed, in a clean, well decorated and quiet room was perfect. We did not have time to test the pool but this flowered place was perfect for resting in salton sea. We recommend!

This is a gem if the pool is clean This stay which is my second stay here is much better. They should really upgrade thier bedding to all white bedding so it's bleached and sanitized. That's my only complaint. It's super close to the Calipatria State Prison and they offer a special rate. Last time i stayed here i was really looking forward to some pool time but when i got here it was all green and murky. This time its clean and inviting just like the photos on the internet. Only this time i didn't bring my bathing suit. Next time i hope it's still pretty and clean. This is the place if you're staying in Calipatria! Staff is very friendly too! I gave it 4 stars due to the lack of consistency and the outdated bedding.

Stayed there for many years, and recently returned for business at the prison. The property is under new management, and is absolutely filthy. It smells, has junk strewn everywhere and the grounds are an eyesore. The owner is a very mean man who yelled at us when we told him that it wasn't up to our standards. We got out of there quick! We drove to Brawley and stayed at the Brawley Inn. It was well worth the drive.

It's not a horrible place
But the description online is seriously out of date. The pool is full of algae and the restaurant closed sometime ago. However, the room was clean and comfortable. A bit pricey at 80 bucks but they know they're the only game in town. Truck parking if you need it. It could be worse. The owners are very friendly. The pizza at the store a block away was in expensive and very good.response / report this review -

This place is amazing!! We stayed in one of the suites and we had one of the best times of our lifes! The New Owners are doing a great job putting this place together! Very clean !! We will always come here for our valley stay! We love the Dove suite! Recommend you stay there! Beds are very comfortable! Thank you Calipatria Inn for making our weekend memorable! 💕💕💕 cant wait to see it in all its glory when it's all done!

The establishment was not up to par when it comes to cleanliness or overall perception of quality. There were large bugs in the room. Dirt throughout the room/bathroom. Not at fan whatsoever.

Horrible. This place is a JOKE. We came here and the entire place is under a construction so everything was dirty and full of rusted and sharp objects all over the place.
Also, we were the only guests in the hotel which was weird because the travel website said that their rooms are get booked fast, so we were rushing..
The worst part of the experience was the hundreds of bugs everywhere in our room. There were over thirty bugs just in the bathroom. We saw bugs in every corner of the room Extremely unsatisfactory conditions.
Lastly, the continental breakfast they claim to provide it's just coffee, not even a toast.
