The motels location is conveniently located. The motel is older but clean with a fridge and microwave in each room. I will definitely stay there again.

OH MY GOD. WHAT I JUST EXPERIENCED FROM THIS PLACE WAS UNBELIEVABLE. I'm coming from a position that I own a business myself too so what I ran into was absolutely UNACCEPTED.
After going through all the bad reviews on Google and Yelp, I was really hesitant. I was trying to get a place for my friend who was coming from Asia to stay at a couple nights in this small town (that is 2 hours away from SLC). He has 2 kids with him and this was the only place that could offer a room with 2 queen beds and a little kitchen inside. After calling around, I didn't have too many options. I decided to place them a call and ended up reserving that room for my friend. Unfortunately, my friend got stuck while being transited in Beijing due to a big storm going on over there. He was supposed to arrive at noon and then we could take him to the motel on the same day but the plan could not happen. My sister and I were trying to call and let them know the situation using the number listed on Google but no one ever picked up the phone. 2 days later, I got a phone call from the lady I reserved the room with. She started spitting things out like how not nice I was for not giving them a call, how much money she lost when she could've rented the room to someone else; she even laughed on the phone telling me that she's sorry when it's all my fault (despite how I was explaining the whole situation). Then she called again telling me that now the conversation is being recorded so she didn't have to hold any responsibility (if I filed a complaint). She ended up telling me that she would not charge me any money for not calling in blah blah blah. But I told her go ahead and charge me for the one first night as the policy that she discussed to me over the phone before. I don't need any favor from her to shut my mouth up. I'm going to pay for the consequence and so is she.
If you own this place and you are reading this comment, PLEASE make sure you hire a different person who could actually help your place get better. And if you are a customer who are thinking of placing a reservation here, PLEASE stay away. You don't know who you are running into. (She was really nice the first time we talked but then turned herself into the nastiest personality just exactly as many other people had to experience and say on Google and Yelp). PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU HAD NO OTHER OPTIONS.

Ate dinner at Home Plate across the street so thought we'd stay there. Told me service dog not welcome without "documentation." Too tired to argue. Check the law moron! You just broke it. ONLY Emotional support animals require documentation. Look on the ADA website before someone nastier than me sues you.
Also almost all of your "good" reviews have the same wording. Really?

My overall stay was on the heater didn't work and the tub didn't drain but they did give us space heaters the problem started after we left the owner called and told someone we trashed the room and she had to get someone to come in a clean I made sure it was clean when we left then she said we had 10 people stay in the room Funny I was there for six days no problem until we left and we told her six people and that's all that was there she told us she discounted the room and by having us there she was losing money. I would not recommend staying here for more then a day and take pictures when you check in and when you leave

Stayed at skyline motel in Fairview 6 days and when I left I cleaned it up and made sure the kids didn't make a huge mess cleaned up after them well the lady that runs the place today after I left called the bishop and told him I trashed the place and left a huge mess which wasn't true then said I had ten people staying there again not true so she lied told the bishop she had to have someone come in and clean which again not true but when I went to talk To her this morning she told me she was mad at the bishop cause he hasn't paid her yet and she was losing money having us there and that she's had the bishop bring people before and not pay so she is lying to get more money out of the bishop.

It's friendly service, comfy, clean, quiet. They allow pets and it's close to snowkiting!
