The food is slightly worse than Sheetz. The staff and atmosphere isn't too bad.

These wings are fantastic. Usually when a place has specials they give you tiny wings, not here. Highly recommended.

First of all, the 5 star reviews of Cains are either made by the staff or friends of the owner/staff. No exaggeration, but expect the following every time:

    1. Aside from the bartenders, the staff are rude and inconsiderate
    2. You will wait for your food order well beyond the point you throw your hands up and say, "I'll just take it to go, or forget it, I'll eat somewhere else."

Cain's is a prime example of what NOT to do. The food is good, I will attest to that, when you finally get it.

If you're expecting quality customer service and friendly waitresses/servers then go somewhere else.

They have a ton of beers on tap. Most are pretty good, some are great. Food is awesome and staff is competent.

A good menu selection and beer selection. They also have a pretty dece happy hour. I would of given a 5 stars but our waitress didn't take my order until after happy hour was over and she would walk away from us as she was talking.

The sandwiches are good, although I feel that they could be be bigger. They overwhelm you with fries. The fries are good though, although I am not a big fry person. It kind of seems like the fries are the main entree and the sandwich is the side though. More sandwich - less fries.

My friend and I go here at least once a week. Tuesdays are $5.00 burger nights. The food is always good, hot and they have all sorts of drink specials. Beer is on special too certain nights. The place is clean , the service is most of the time awesome, and we just love going here!

If you're looking for a place to watch a sporting event, drink some craft beers, or grub on some slightly-better-than-bar food, Cain's is a good pick. Solid selection of beers on tap (about 20ish). The food is OK to really good depending on what you get, but it's nothing fancy. Tons of well placed flatscreen TVs. Bartenders are down to earth and generally friendly. Our go-to bar for Pitt sports.

my 'kids' are 25 and 27. Some 20 years ago we went to Cain's Saloon and on a night that the kids (and these were well behaved girls) were 'restless,' we were asked to leave if our children couldn't be silenced. NEVER went back and have heard similar stories. Spoke with friend that went there ~ 6 months ago (without children) and said food was lousy.

A great neighborhood spot! Both the breakfast and lunch menus are huge. The portions are huge too for the most part so come hungry or be prepared to split a hoagie or omelette.

The prices are awesome. The daily specials are usually awesome too. The staff is amazing and has always treated me and my friends and family very well.

The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because of the noise level in the bar area. It's kind of loud when it gets busy. The acoustics are not great.
