Location isn't so great as the brick street it's on is very rough, and it's at the end of the street. The food is excellent as well as the service, but it's on the expensive side.

Melody and Chef Tim are the two most spectacular highlights of this place. Quaint pretty little cottage home feel, warm hospitality and out-of-this-world food exquisitely handcrafted by Chef Tim are the perfect things you need to make a holiday trip one of the most beautiful memories!!

Unbelievable!!! This is an historic Bed and Breakfast in the small town of Sutton, WV. Located right off there BRICK LAID Main St. nestled right on the river, it could not be a better place to rewind and relax for a dinner or drink to a full weekend of amazing service and food. The home has been renovated for modern times, but also has the great feel of historynot to mention the cups of coffee looking over a gorgeous river bank! The food is prepared daily and by a professional chef. I had the filet and it melted in my mouth!! If your willing to spend a little bit of money for a 5-star experience then this is the place. Best kept secret in West Virginia. Hands down.

Can not say enough. This is the best kept secret but the word is out now this is truly a 5star restaurant. One of few in this state. Oysters, Steaks, local wine, and an amazing staff. Once a month for me see you soon. Tell them James sent you.

Elegant country inn situated along the Elk River, fronting a historic brick lain street. The menu is simple, the food is superb, with seating choices of charming, intimate dining rooms, Al fresco on the large wrap around porch, or on the patio down back at Little Dishes cafe. It's truly an upscale dining experience in a casual setting with staff that make you feel right at home.

Delicious food. Gorgeous accommodations in an Idyllic setting. Well worth the drive! Hospitality from Tim, Melody and the entire staff is second to none. Just a wonderful romantic retreat.

What a wonderful hidden gem! Delicious food, fantastic service and a beautiful B&B. We will definitely be back to this lovely restaurant.

I stopped at the Inn for lunch on my way from Morgantown to Huntington. I'd never been there at all before but had heard good things. The service was impeccable and the food was delicious. I had a side salad with homemade Bleu cheese and fish tacos. I would definitely stop again. The lunch area looks out on the water out back and is very relaxing.

First time experience(5/20/17):
Entree, gnocchi with ramps and wild mushroom sauce. Dessert-chocolate mouse cake. Wine, break, and olive appetizer as well. Everything was delicious and prepared extremely well. My family has Italian heritage and growing up my great grandma always made gnocchi. It took me a long time to make them just right(not too tough, not too heavy, get them out of the water as soon as they pop up, etc) and I believe this is one of two restaurants I've been to that has perfected how to make gnocchi. I too my grandparents who had been there once before and they absolutely love it as well. They rave about the meatballs.
Our service was excellent. It was becoming busy after we got there but we were not forgotten and the staff displayed enthusiasm about their job while wearing a smile on their faces.
Hats off to the chef, wait staff, and people behind the scenes that manage this restaurant. This truly is a WV gem I hope stays in business for a long time to come!!!
Additional notes: They have places to stay the night. There is typically a local musician who plays live music on Fridays and Saturdays(she was out of town on the Saturday I was there but I bought her cd that was available and love itI can see how her songs would move well in Cafe Cimino's ambiance). There is outdooe seating in front of the restaurant and behind the restaurant. The seating behind the restaurant overlooks the river. Appareal, I'd say casual to semi formal. I didn't see anyone in jeans but if you are in jeans and don't have an opportunity to change, jeans and a nice shirt would be fine. I wore dressy capris and a nice shirt. Some women's a I saw were wearing skirts and some men were wearing khaki pants and a button up shirt. This is one of the more classy intimate restaurants in WV and the outskirts of surrounding states. Last, if you put this address in your GPS, it will most likely take you to an area along the main road in Sutton that is before the restaurant. You'll know you are getting close when you go from pavement to a brick road(same street just transitions to brick) and at the end of the road(can't go much further) you will see the house(restaurant in an old Victorian house) on the left side of the road.response / report this review -

I made reservations at Cafe Cimino to surprise my Mom & Dad for their 55th wedding anniversary. I asked when I called if it would be ok to bring a cake to surprise them with, and they said it would be fine.
When we arrived, my parents were delighted to see that the owners had personalized a menu wishing them a happy anniversary. Additionally, they added so many wonderful touches such as appertifs, prosecco served with the cake, and just showing immense warmth and attention.
