I have rafted the New and Gauley rivers for over 40 years. This is the best company on both rivers hands down. The staff is service and people oriented, and the facilities are clean and well maintained. I now bring my grown children and their spouses every year for a family adventure. We all love this place! There is something for everyone who appreciates the outdoors.

Beautiful! Great place to stay, highly recommend. Atmosphere is beautiful, fun and friendly. Everyone from the staff to the visitors were enjoyable to spend your vacation with. Awesome get away for friends, family and couples. I will definitely go back.

The Adventures on the Gorge facility has the feel of an old-timey summer camp, hidden among the mountains. The company offers a wide variety of activities, from white-water rafting, to guided rock-climbing, to laser tag and paintball. At night there is usually live music, and a lively bar scene.

The white-water guides are experienced and fun, and the food the company provides with the trip is excellent. I was also gratified to find that after our long trip down the river, they provided adults with cold beer on the ride back to the camp. These people think of everything. I rate my white-water experience as a 5/5.

The facility itself offers a variety of lodging options, all the way from camping in your own tent to staying at a lodge. We opted to stay in the cabins, which were fairly decent. The bath facilities, however, left something to be desired. There are also a variety of food options at the camp. We opted to eat at Smokey's Steakhouse, where we found excellent food, friendly service and spectacular views, though our meal was pricier than perhaps the quality warranted. Reservations are recommended, even if you are told that they are not required.

Did Gravity and had dinner at Smokeys. Based on this, we're already planning an all inclusive vacation for next year. The Gravity zip line was awesome, as were the guides. My only complaint is 6 lines isn't enough. At Smokey's, the food was great. Had to send back the steak for being over cooked (ordered medium and received medium-well/well) and the replacement steak was barely cooked. The dessert was phenomenal.

Found adventures of the gorge from a simple search of the local area for white water rafting. Decided to go with a half day rafting trip on the lower new river. The trip was both exciting and fun. We came as a group of six and got our own raft with an excellent guide. Overall would come back to do again.

The employees are amazing! They make the experience that much better. They all do a great job with providing educational facts about things, some comedy, and all around just making people feel welcomed. For anybody that has never been here before or haven't done much of the recreational activities provided here. I suggest you to put it on your bucket list as it's a once in a lifetime experience. Some of my best memories are here and that's coming from someone that's done all types of different things in my lifetime.

Adventures on the Gorge has it all! We stayed in a one bedroom cabin complete with hot tub. It was rustic yet had all the amenities. Looking for real outdoorsman camping? They have that too. With zip-lining, swimming, hiking, biking, and white water rafting etc. nearby, there's no shortage of activities to keep you busy and keep the adrenaline pumping. Highly recommend!!!

We went as a small group for the Tree Tops Ziplining tour. Our guides Adriana and James were awesome! They were very safe, paid attention to detail, and made sure everyone was having a good time! The equipment was in good condition and made me feel secure as well. The facilities were very clean. Overall, the trip was a huge success!

We visited Adventures on the Gorge for our very first white water rafting experience. It was extremely easy to book the rafting trip online. Locating the to spot to meet for the trip was a little bit confusing because the campus was so large. All of the guides were extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. The guide for our raft was Matt and I would highly recommended booking with him if possible. We did the lower river half day outing, but the full day experiences include a lunch. If you are going on a rafting trip, I would recommend bringing a towel and a spare pair of shoes in addition to a change of clothes. We had an awesome time and can't wait to go back!

Adventures on the Gorge is a wonderful place. All the staff are friendly. I've never had a bad experience there. I've been rafting with them for 13 years. There cabins are always clean and inviting. There's always something to do there where it's rafting, paintball, fishing, the list could go on.

Went white water rafting for the first time and survived level 4-5 rapids. The guides are great! Easy to understand and great teachers. Concerned with safety and having fun at the same time. They have everything you need on site and more. They take professional pictures and a video both for purchase.
