A cool place to chill with family or get wild with friends. Hookah and bar. Pretty good Mediterranean food.

I've been here four or five times in the past year, and it has been superb each time. My only complaint is they're not open later!

I am not knowledgable in Mediterranean foods or culture, but it is certainly very tasteful! From the whatever-you-call-it lamb entree, to the sugar-cube-desert things and lamb-noodle-risotto dish, it is absolutely made top-notch!

The drinks are cocktails, at normal cocktail prices you can find in DC.

Hookah is very fresh, and the coals actively managed by the staff, at least every time I've been here. My personal favorite is Pirate's Cave and Blue Mist, a must try if you have never had those flavors before!

The staff is incredibly friendly, even bringing me another hookah when the wrong flavor was miscommunicated from the language barrier.

Deffinitey worth going to if you're in the Eastern Market area, for both hookah and non hookah users!

Such a great spot in Capitol Hill neighborhood. Have seen so many congressional staff having lunch or dinner. Definitely, recommended!!!

It was the WORST food I've ever had. We ordered like 5 different kinds of food and they were all bad.

Awesome food and great environment Cafe 8 is a great example of how Turkish hospitality is done. Everytime i go to Dc i take my friends there. Waiters are great and they treat you like a royalty. The first time we went we got free coffee with Turkish delights. Second time we went it was around night time where it was raining so hard. By the time we were about to leave it started raining even harder and their waiter gave us their only umbrella so that we make it to our car. Third time we went for lunch and they served us free hookah. They are just the best .. I would recommend it to everyone.

Great food but service is slow and getting a refill on a soda takes forever.

The service was terrible. Waiting 10-15 minutes to get the attention of the server to order appetizers is not cool. Hookah wasn't the best either. Won't be visiting again.
