Best brunch spot in Ann Arbor, in my humble opinion. That being said , there is plenty of other good competitors; however, what separates Zola from the pack is their eye for quality ingredients. They have an incredible selection for gourmet coffee beans to choose from that can be brewed in the method of your choosing. They serve zingerman's bread with a side of homemade herb butter. They have Benton's bacon amd organic farm-fresh eggs. I would highly recommend the Americana, which marries these ingredients together into a classic diner breakfast.

Great food and drink in a quaint, European atmosphere. Really enjoyed their cocktails and dessert crepes the last time I went. Parking is always a challenge but it’s a great little place.

Expensive. You get what you pay for. Except dessert; haven't found it as spectacular as everything else. But still rating 5 stars because it's easy to get dessert somewhere and there aren't many places where I am ok paying $30 for brunch.

Don't know what people like about this place. Nothing special just a little cafe
Ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and the bread was way too hard. Had the sunshine smoothie too, and that tasted so bad - did not recognize any fruit in it. Also when we first came in there were three little tables with people sitting at each one and the guy made us sit at the forth one, very close to the other people so if you move your arm a little you can touch people beside you We just got up and moved to one of the 10 other empty tables.. Tables too little, chairs are uncomfortable. Giving it 2 stars only because the waitress was nice. Not coming back here

Addendum: I was able to reach the owner later in the day. She listened to my concerns and validated them. She made a good faith effort to make up for the problems i experienced earlier today at lunch. so the food remains excellent, and apparently service is still good. I have deleted my previous review.

Really good food but occasionally spotty service. I've been here twice. On both occasions the food was very good and some dishes were excellent. Everything is home made and they really pay attention to the food. They have a pretty good wine and spirits list too. I felt on both occasions that the service could be improvedbetter training for the young wait staff is needed.

While the variety on the menu and the atmosphere were great, it was more expensive than I would have expected. The food was very good and the selections plenty. They offer organic food, gluten free, and healthy foods. The place is great to go out and meet up with friends or just with a date. For 2 ppl, brunch, we spent $75 with a tip. We will return as a splurge.

Had brunch this morning and everything was great. Sat outside and enjoyed the nice day. Had a spicy Bloody Mary ; very well done. Everyone in our party loved their food. I had the corn beef hash with eggs and it was great. This place always has good food and service. Check it out.

Zola has a really nice atmosphere with a lot of natural light and ample outdoor seating. The food is good though probably a bit overpriced, at least for breakfast/brunch. Service is generally good. They have very good coffee!

We received very poor service last time we were here, which included the server getting angry with us for asking a few questions about the menu. The server was then visibly discussing our table with another employee and eventually a different server handled our bill.

I have never had a dish here I didn't like. A little pricier than your average brunch or breakfast go-to spot or diner. When I want to treat myself to a good meal and feel special without breaking the bank, I go here. Love the calming atmosphere, tasty food, and good vibes.

I had the pepper crusted steak medallions and I thought they were wonderful!! They deliver hot bread to your table with butter and a wonderful salmon spread. The calamari was also wonderful. Dining in an old, ornate train station was an experience. The decoration of this place just has to be seen. Added bonus to the dinner, trains coming through

Pricey but go for special occasions! Worth it in quality of food, service and ambiance! Restaurant is an old train station converted into an elegant experience! Great wine should be enjoyed with great friends! I hear the Sunday brunch is fantastic but ALWAYS make reservations!

Our dinner at Blue Hill was everything I hoped it'd be. We all had the Farmer's Feast (one of our party is vegetarian but they easily accommodated that) and it was a lovely meal that really highlighted the ingredients. Our server was very well-informed and told us the stories of the origins of several of the key ingredients that are being developed by the Barbers. We were seated in the garden room, which was lovely and much quieter than the main dining room. I'd happily come back to dine again.
