Horrible place to go. Went in for my eye & ended up getting my blood pressure checked way too many times. I got accused of taking drugs, terrible place. I was told from the nurse himself he doesn’t care about my issue 😂🖕🏼. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR ANYONE!

The staff is always been very very good to meperiod the only time you seem to get educated as one people go when they're intoxicated or drunk or drugged and that also pisses off the rest of the basement

This emergency room should be closed! Prople that work here are misarable and could care less about their patience. They should be ashemed of themselves. If you need to go to ER avoid this one at any cost, unless you need little oxgien to be able to make it to another hospital, but do NOT come here! This hospital is joke ..too bad there is no 0 rating or even better - 10

This hospital has the shortest wait time in the ER in the area for a reason. Because nobody wants to come here. For starters, it's on top of an enormous hill, nobody seems to know where the ER is, and once you're inside, security treats you like you're a threat. My girlfriend was brought in to get her appendix removed, and while her care was fantastic (she was out for most of it) I was treated like garbage almost from the beginning.
1- I couldn't find the place. It was during a blizzard, and none of the signs said CHA Everett. All of the old Whidden signs were still up. I JUST moved here, so, not knowing that Whidden was the same hospital, I got lost for four hours looking for this place. On GPS, it still said Whidden- NOT CHA. So, I pretty much had no idea where I was supposed to go. NOT a good first impression.
The hospital itself does NOT look like a typical hospital- it looks like a psychiatric hospital through and through. Old, and cheap. Everything is blocked off by security. For safety measures, I'm sure. Still, to be treated this way IS upsetting. To tell them "My girlfriends' appendix just burst and I need to get in to see her, NOW" and have this guy just look at me like he didn't understand me it's infuriating. Finally, a nurse told him to let me in, and I got in. And got lost, three times, but not before I got to see her.
The hospital website says that overnight accomodations are madeto those who request them. We requested them, and when I came back with some stuff, the third shift manager for the floor had no idea who I was, and I was denied entrance to the hospital. The security guard was brand new, too. I called my girlfriend, who was in tears because she really wanted me with her that night, and I was mad once again at the hospitals' lack of professionalism and continuity. Between staff.
The next day, I spent many hours with her, doting on her as best I could, and let her sleep as comfortably as she could manage while I read. I WILL say that this place has the BEST coffee ANYWHERE. Kudos to the kitchen for making a killer brew.
When the time came for me to go, I kissed her farewell and I called a Lyft. The first one tried to pick me up at the wrong location, during the snowstorm. I couldn't walk there in time, it cancelled on me, and charged me $5 for a no-show. I called another one, specifically gave them the ER location. Same thing. FURIOUS, I went inside and complained to Lyft, giving them a complete description of what happened, and a security guard just walked up to me and asked "What are you doing and how long is it going to take?" I looked up at him and just asked "Excuse me?" He said "We can't have people loitering in the waiting room".
I was FLOORED! I said "My girlfriend just had surgery and has been here for two days, I just missed two Lyfts because the drivers don't know what they're doing and marked me as a no-show. So, sir, please don't kick me out because I'm currently complaining to Lyft and requesting a refund and a credit so I can still afford to get home". I was covered in snow, I was freezing, I was exhausted, and I just wanted to hold my love and take her Terribles away from her for just a little while so she could sleep uninterrupted.
The guard started yelling at me about giving him attititude, so I tuned him out long enough to complete my complaint, took a screenshot of what happened, submitted it, ordered a new Lyft, got up, said "Thank you, sir, and have a great night". And left.
I will NEVER come back here. EVER. I'm really glad my loved one got the care she needed but honestly this place is a dump and should be shut down and paved over.response / report this review -

Worst hospital EVER. Nothing like the hospitals in Boston. The staff are way to layed back. The bathrooms look like a mouse would run pass your feet. My grandmother is currently being treated and it takes 1 hour for a bed pan, 7 hours for results. The Dr Nurses and aides never directly answer your questions and brush you off. Did I mention NO1 smiles I'm calling upper management once she is released and the news. I've been taking videos as well. If I wasn't here with her it might have been worst. Did I mention I work for a hospital and wtffffffff happen to PATIENT CARE!?

The most disgusting hospital I have ever been. There stains on the walls and the bathroom floor is covered in piss. They used the soil linen bin as a table to put in an IV. The nurses and doctors are very nice but the person that came in to get insurance was rude. This place is just really disgusting.

Not sure where the negative complains are coming from, they either changed the working staff or other patients might have been in a different hospital than me. Everyone was extremely nice and pleasant during my emergency visit. Doctors, nurses, receptionist, they all seemed genuinely caring and friendly. The visit took some time, but you can't expect to be seen in 20 min when you're in the emergency room, normally it's always very busy, so no complains, thank you for your work!
