We had a really disappointing experience with Carstar. They assessed what was wrong with the car and gave us a written estimate ($1448.26) of the work that needed to be done. We accepted that and agreed to having the work done. When the dismantled the car, they called us back and told us it would be $2800.00 rather than the estimate they previously gave us. That is a whopping big difference of $1351.74! We decided against letting them do the work and they charged us $117.00 to put the car back together. They will not get the opportunity to take advantage of us again!

Very disappointed! Referred to CarStar from insurance company being told that they were a "preferred" body shop. Hours are only 8-5 for estimates, no flexibility, no estimators on Saturday. UGH. Told receptionist I guess I would need to go somewhere else and she really didn't care. Too bad for the owners, they probably would like to know how much business they are missing. Have definitely told the insurance carrier that they are NOT a shop that I would take my vehicle to.

CarStar staff is top rated in my book. Rob walked me through the process and listed what needed to be done. Then he provided me with the best price and the turn around time was pretty good. Rob is very knowledgeable and the quality of work was outstanding. Top rated! Front desk is amazing and very helpful. I highly recommend them.
