This branch, compared to another in Fort Wayne, seemed quite understaffed. One staff member, who was located at the entrance was knowledgeable, the rest were acting too lackadaisical for my tastes.

Horrible experience for me go there those people are very rude which have no respect for deaf community which I go there change my license from out of state turn into Indiana. Then one person mouthing me that say very offensive thing against deaf community that person snickering and caught their read lip we have deaf and dumb. So I grabbed my stuff walk out after this word the person say is unacceptable! I am deaf and use American Sign Language they think it's funny to taunt deaf person but they did made mistake for that word come out of their mouth that person was like embarrassing because person knew I caught their mouthing about me. Realize deaf isn't dumb! We are way smarter than they are!

Staff good seem to me process to renew plates could of been over phone like years before was. Got post card said had to show up. Sti wait for sticker. Thanks for short wait

Trying to get things taken care of with my daughter and everytime we come they tell us something new that we need to do! Why not tell us all at once???

The BMV refuses to return the full cost of license plate registration after their mistake. They accepted funds for a vehicle registered in Illinois. The BMV mistakenly took the 05 impala off the website so when my wife ordered the license plate it was for the 06 impala by mistake (the only vehicle listed on the website). The 06 impala is legally tittled plated registered in Illinois. The BMV refuses to refund the entire cost even though they admit this was their mistake. I have called the governor's office repeatedly and left many messages to Alex the BMV liason with no response. Bottom line the BMV owes me a full refund. They are not entitled to funds for a car that is legally tittled plated and registered in Illinois.
