Where do I begin. When this restaurant first opened we went every week. A birthday or baby shower this was the place. Let me say the food is still the best BUT the service is horrible. We go on a week night in middle of the week. First they say not many servers on duty and that's why the wait is so horrible. Next time we went this past week and got sat immediately but was there over 2 hours. Got half the food and ate it and waited and waited and waited and complained where's the pizza. Finally after 30 minutes. Said kitchen backed up and the general mgr was actually cooking, which he was. This place needs a shake-up NOW! The wait staff are not properly trained This is really huge. These kids are the worst. They're pleasant but no clue as to how often to go to the table. Next I believe the the mgr is cutting corners and not having enough staff to cover. That's why he's in the kitchen. If he's being pressured by someone above him then please pay attention. We spend a lot of money when we come in. We always bring other people. We were not offered to come back and try one more time and we were not rude either so no excuse. Second time in 3 weeks we spoke to the general mgr when we were there. Don't see how we can come back. Such a shame. They should hire me. I can really help, lol.

PERFECT 10 WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE. We live in Santa Barbara and love to drive on a Sunday afternoon just to go eat there, we love to go for bday's and celebrations as well always such a great experience and the food is AMAZING, there is enough slections for all to pick from with enough portions for the family.
    Defenitly recommend it!!

Decent service and decent food but is pricey and corporate feeling.

Dinner last night with a few friends for a birthday celebration. Always a great place to go. We were seated late (had reservation, party itself was late too), and we had movie tickets. With the combined tardiness it was unlikely we'd make our movie and next ones too late with sitters. More than pleased to say The Bucca staff and kitchen stepped up big time getting food out including an amazing dessert and we made it to movies while previews still running! Thank you Bucca di Beppo for insuring a happy birthday all the way around. Super high marks!!

Where do I begin? We were seated after half an hour. The hostess asked if we celebrating anything so we said anniversary, but they did nothing about it. Why did she asked in the first place? She took us to a table which had a bunch of food crumbs on the seat. We showed it to her yet she did nothing so my boyfriend wiped it off with his jacket. 20-25 minutes went by, a waiter finally showed and took our order which was just a glass of wine and an entree. While waiting for our food, we noticed the two of the utisils still had food crumbs stuck to them. 10 minutes later, another waiter came by to ask about our drinks because the other waiter had lost our order. We placed another order and again the third waiter asked the same. We were in total disbelief. We finally got some water and a plate of oil and vinegar with no bread. The food did come out some what burned, but at this point we just wanted to eat because we were tired and hungry. Needless to say, we would NEVER return to Buca di Beppo, especially this location. There are so many great restaurants in town I would rather spend my time and money on. This was the worse restaurant experience I 've ever had. It was nothing like when my brother had his wedding shower at Buca a few years ago.

Tried to place to-go order for family that cannot leave the house easily. Was put on hold three times, waited more than 20 minutes then they hung up on me, called back and they put the phone down and refused to take order. I don't know why they treated us this way, we just wanted to order and were very polite. Even if they were busy no customer should be treated this way.

The server was amazing. The food also amazing. I would love to eat there more often but I'm not always with a group. I think it would be great to have a choice for a small meal. A dinner salad or a small portion of pasta. Just a thought.

I'm a little upset. I was told my order would be ready at 6 PM. As I write this it is 639 and no food. I have 12 people at the house waiting to eat. Some other guy who just walked in got his food. I'm going Vacuvious

Only have been here about 3 times, I liked it, but I got food poisoning from the chicken the last time. Called them, told them, they didn't really have much to say about it and never really did anything. Haven't been back since. I here great things about it, and I'm sure it is, but after that experience It's hard to say I'd go back

The shrimp poorboy is really good! Perfect ratio of ingredients, the hot sauce was a nice touch. I also ordered the surf and turf, which was pretty good but after eating the poorboy, I just wished I had ordered two playboys instead. The food was a little expensive but it was a great meal, nonetheless. Dine in seating was a little tricky with two children but we were accommodated. As I was leaving I saw a sign that mentioned something about red velvet but not in reference to a dessert.

Had a very nice lunch with a friend at Tuscany. Great Italian food and great service! It is a sister restaurant to Rustico, my favorite Italian restaurant in the area. My only complaint would be that the interior design could be better if it was updated. Otherwise a great experience for food and service!
