  I love the character of this place, reminds me of the coffee shops in Downtown New York. I must add that Sarah is the best barista in battle creek. I hope this place is here forever. Most important, the coffee is great.

  Went there and got a simple chic salad croissant and she said it would take a minute because they toast the bun. I waited 10 minutes for a burnt sandwich.

  Came to Battle Creek and wanted a good strong coffee, so I plugged in "nearest coffee shop" and this place came up. Said it was open 7-9. Thought I'd try to support the local guy.
  
  Got there and there was a hand written sign saying they were closed for the day (this was a Saturday morning). How unprofessional! Starbucks would never do that. I learned my lesson. Stick to Starbucks! I went to Starbucks in the McCamly plaza and of course it was OPEN and EXCELLENT.
