Good food but kind of slow service
Not as good as it used to be before they opened up shop in Kalamazoo. The BC location feels like an afterthought these days butthey still have great beers on tap and great pizza. It's just sad that when you peer through the glass walls you don't see all the co stainless brewing equipment anymore.
Pricey but good food and environment. The set up is pretty cool as well. All the workers hustle and have an extremely well work ethic. Nice place to have a date.
Service was great beers were great don't let 3.8 review rating steer you away from this place. They have their own wood stove for pizzas. Smoked brisket was some of the best I've ever had.
I had a good experience when I went there for drinks. The cider I had was phenomenal. Very cool venue by the river as well. It has a hipster modern feel to it. The service can be a little slow though.
HORRIBLE from start to finish. Waitress knew nothing about the beer selections, referred us to the menu for descriptions. Ordered dinner and appetizer. Appetizer took 45 min. to arrive, only after we asked three times about it. Finally told waitress to cancel the appetizer and they brought it anyway. 5 min after the appetizer dinner arrived. Staff knew we were dissatisfied and couldnt have cared less. Bathrooms were FILTHY. We will NOT be coming back.
Beer is great! We went on a Tuesday and they were out of almost half the menu. My friend ordered the combination platter and instead of telling him they were out of chicken they just threw on extra pork. Could buy the beer at meijer and skip the whole restaurant experience for sure!
What happened to the pizza? We just got two pizzas and a cheese crust and this is very disappointing compared to how I remember when I moved here 8 years ago. Definitely not worth the money. Mostly burnt, thin cardboard crust and the toppings were all over the place. Literally a pile of rosemary in one corner of my Tuscan, and a pile of garlic in the other. I love supporting local, small business, especially breweries. And I love the beer, don't get me wrong. But there is no way someone should feel right charging $14 for what I just received. Especially when they have the means to make the best pizzas in town with a wood fired oven. Sad
