I am a plumber who was called to this establishment to clear a drain clog. I have been to many veterinary clinics to fix various issues but I must say that this was by far the cleanest and most caring place I have ever been. The furbabies they had there had clean water and plenty of food. The drain wasn't overflowing and had just shown signs of slowing. Called at first notice.
The staff in there were so sweet and caring for these lovely lil animals. They don't hesitate to even check on so much as a bark.
I will be taking my 4 little loved ones here with no doubt that they will receive the best care from their loving staff.response / report this review -

Dr Charity Miller was wonderful with both of my dogs. Both are not easy to take care of . Dr Miller went out of her way to work with them. Sam the Vet Tech went above and beyond getting us in and checking us out. I am so happy I found a great place for my dogs, since I just moved here. Thanks to the Brooksville Veterinary Clinic from Luna and Iggy pop!

My dogs have never been healthier! Doctor Charity Miller and her staff are the MOST compassionate veterinarian around, period! Most vet's will give you a song and dance to win you over, but she is for real and extremely compassionate! I feel it is my duty to set things straight regarding a review from Kitty she was definitely missed informed. I wish I could add to the comments, but it would not allow me to, so here I am adding the truth of the matter. If Kitty had used Doctor Miller before this should would have understood what she is saying is wrong and miss judged. Doctor Miller is the one I would HIGHLY recommend to use for euthanizing. Why? Many reasons: she doesn't put a family member down just because of the inconvenience. I know this for a fact, for it has happened to me. Many vet's have told me to my face that they can care less once they have passed away. I remember these vet's and have prayed they never call me to use my services. These same vet's people have used not knowing that this vet told me this, it's a shame that some vet's lie to your face to get your money. Natures Pet Loss cares all the way through, just like Doc Miller does, that is why we are a perfect fit. I know in my heart when she says it bothers her, it truly does. She would never in her wildest dreams hurt anyone or anything. I have seen a messed up euthanizing job, and she doesn't even come close to it. Doctor Miller has taken people in where many vet's have turned down even their own clients, making them wait for weeks on end. Sham on them, when my family pet member is suffering I want to know I can go to them for help and not wait as long as some others have done. This is because of Doctor Millers BIG heart and her LOVE for what she does. Her heart is were a vet should truly be! I can't say that for others, and becasue of this she is the vet to use, period. She is the vet I use, and believe me I can use many others and I choice not to. Her staff is as gentle as she is! Doctor Miller in my book will always be a 10 star rating not a 5. She does go beyond her call of duty, keep up the good work Doctor and don't let someone who has no idea who you are hurt that Big heart which you are so well known for. We love you and need you to be the same person who you truly are, Doctor Charity Miller DVM, and be proud that you are that person and not some of these other vet's who do it for the money! P.S. All my employees use you, why, because they know your the best around! They love your heart as well as we do! XOXOXO We are proud you are truly our Veterinarian!!!!

Our boys love going to the vet! As soon as we ask them if they want to go see their girlfriends they start wagging their tails and running for the truck. The service and care we receive is second to none. I highly recommend this clinic for the wellbeing of your fur baby! They are Diesel and Murphy approved :)

Needed to euthanize our 14-year-old Lab, Chewy. We just moved to the area a month ago and had been to Brooksville VET 1 time (the week before). Once we got into the treatment room, they came in with a credit card machine right away to pay for the process. They said they would be right back with sedation. After waiting a painful 20 minutes, I had to leave the room and ask about the sedation. A couple minutes later the tech came in and gave sedation, which was an injection to her rear, our dog screamed, they said it was from the burning sensation (our dog in all her vet visits previously never had an issue or made a sound with a needle prick). The Vet came in about 10 minutes later to administer the final drug in her front paw with a needle. I was watching the whole thing, our dog was screaming in great pain. This happened after she stuck her. Chewy was screaming with pain for about 10 seconds in all even after the Vet withdrew the needle (The Vet did not use a Tourniquet to help find the vein). Of course I said to her; we have to find another way. The Vet said it was because it was from the excitable stage from the Sedation and it happens with this breed (Labrador) and that our Labrador was more aware of what was happening. She gave us the option of her taking Chewy to the back room and putting an IV in and doing it back there or trying again in the rear paw, which she recommended we try, we went with that and Chewy finally passed in peace.
After reflecting back on the experience as well as talking to another Vet from our old home, we came to these conclusions: The initial medication was just a sedative and had no anesthetic (the bill we received does not list the medications given). The screaming pain Chewy felt from the 2nd medication was not from the needle prick, But from the vet missing the vein and accidentally injecting the area with the medication that caused a severe burning sensation (This would be expected and would be the norm if the vein was missed as the medication is very caustic). In the end from what we were told from another vet, all the pain could have been avoided if a simple butterfly IV was used, which is very easy to place and the least painful. It also would have assured the medication would have been directed into the vein. We were told this is the most common practice at least in our old area. For us this was too much of a painful experience and would never bring our other dog to this practice. Please, Please make sure if you have to go through this same procedure, Make sure she uses an IV for your dog’s sake.response / report this review -

I have never been to a better veterinarian office! They are so sweet and personable. They treated by dog like they would their own. They were so kind to her. They didn't do any unnecessary procedures and their prices were extremely reasonable. They also remind you to bring your dog in for a checkup yearly! Great, will never go to another vet. :)

We recently moved to the area from Tampa and had to find a vet for our 6 year old boxer. We hit the jackpot with this practice! Everyone was so friendly and accommodating, and Dr. Miller is a breath of fresh air. I highly recommend Brooksville Veterinary Clinic to anyone who loves and cares about their pet. Top-notch service.

If you are looking for the best care for your pet look no further. I have been taking my pet there for the last 9 years and I can say you won't find a better Dr. or staff. I have used 7 different Drs. over my 67 years and will say say Dr. Miller is the best hands down, she is kind, compassionate, and knows how to diagnose and treat your pet. Do you and your pet a favor and visit Dr. Miller.

This vet has taken care of now two of my furry four-legged family members. They are very courteous and definitely treat their patients as part of their own pet family. Dr. Miller is always willing to talk to pet owners about the various needs of the pets. The whole staff is very passionate and caring about veterinary care.

I am so pleased with Dr Miller. I have a cat that has been to multiple vets for weird skin issues, every time I would try what they recommended but it never worked. A friend told me to check this place out and I did. They are all so nice and helpful. It turns out my cat has an autoimmune disease. And right away she was able to get her on a treatment plan that has cleared up her skin. She is happy now, we can all see a change. Awesome vet! Thank you.
