Typical carnival/fair/festival. Plenty of rides and games for the kids, live music, a beer tent, variety of fair food.

Fish fry was great. Brick stone beer in the beer tent. Ice cold and taste great.

The prices were ridiculous and we found out they are set by Bourbonnais, not the vendors themselves so the village gets their cut. Thanks. We went on the 2 for 1 night to save money with multiple kids. HA! They put cards over the prices and doubled the # of tickets needed to ride the rides. So you saved NOTHING at all. C'mon Bourbonnais. Thought you were a little better than allowing fraud like that. Guess not. Won't go back again. Neither will most of my neighborhood.

Great family time, kind of expensive, very safe, the beer tent is with the very good live music. 30 plus year tradition for me.
