Parking is confusing for first time customers. We entered the building from the side with the parking garage. There was no one to greet customers entering that way once in the restaurant, and it felt like we were in the wait staff's way when we entered and exited that way. It was awkward to figure out where to go for a host. The food was decent. Chairs were ready to fall apart with a couple more uses. Not sure if I would go back or not.

This used to be one the best places in Madison, and we’d recommend to friends. But now something has noticeably changed. Dirty silverware, undercooked veggies, poor service. It’s been a year since we were here last. We always looked forward to it. Used to get warm bread, now when we asked for bread, it was cold, and served with cold butter packets like a diner. Sadly, I would not recommend to friends anymore.😕

Best bloodys in town. Huge! Also breakfast on the weekends is so good. It can get busy though. Dinner food is okay.

This place is hit or miss. Service is either great or horrible. Atmosphere is either nice or filled with flies. Food is either great or nothing special. I recommend the fish stew and truffle fries on a good day, but just not going on a bad day. Problem is, you never know what kind of day they are having until after you're there.

I have never had a bad meal here. Some of the best ribs around the Madison area. Good steak also.

I have had several great meals here and today I stopped by for lunch, It was a great meal and the service was just as good. Good job! Very nice restaurant!

We've been to Bonfyre a few times now and never been disappointed. The food is delicious and definitely has a unique smokey flavor to most dishes. It's not the cheapest but it's worth the price. It's also a great place for restaurant week.

I had the steak sandwich and all it tasted like was lemon juice and other sour stuff they filled it with. The steak itself was cooked rare and it had as little as it could to still call it a steak sandwich. The service was rough but not unbearable. Everything was a good bit overpriced. The only positive things about the place was we went while it wasn't too busy and the place looked nice. If you go there I might recommend trying something you're used to and hope for the best.

Ordered the "Pat's seafood pappardelle" for $27. Bad decision. Not only was the dish over-priced, but the portion was so small and the taste was less than desirable. The money would have been better spent elsewhere.

Food is always hot, fresh, and delicious at Bonfyre. I've visited at least 10 times, probably more, and it's always consistently good. The wood fired meats are exceptional.

We came in for lunch. Not many people there. Good atmosphere. However, that's pretty much the end of a good review. I ordered a burger. But it was so boring!!!! I could have done the same or better at home. My company had the chicken parm. Small portion and it came on a bed of Alfredo noodles??? The waiter even kind of seemed like we were in the way of him doing his job. So it wasn't even great service. Sorry I asked for sugar. All in all No thanks.

The food was tasty. I had their bacon cheeseburger with sweet potato fries. The atmosphere inside is cozy and trendy. It is in an office building with a number of other businesses, so if you are not from the area you might have trouble finding it like I did. The waiter was very nice and attentive. Overall it is a lovely place and I would definitely eat here again.
