Came from parade- we were going to go to chili's but thought we would support local.
Called to check on the wait knowing there was an event. Was told no wait- lots of tables open so arrived a few minutes later and were told 5-10 wait. (Half the tables were empty). Waited 15 and said something so hen realized she never put us on the list. Still didn't offer to seat immediatly. When I went up to ask again was told we could sit. Waited another 15-20 and no greeting or server. Asked for a manager and was told there is not one on. So walked out and noted frustration and no one cares. 35-40 wait with 3 kids- not even a glass of water- won't be back.

Eh, it's a bar. Staff needs help with mixology. They have a featured drink specials menu when they finely found one. but still need a cheat sheet on how to make them. If it's there special you would think they can make it like it's second nature. Staff is some what friendly but obviously they have their favorites. Hard to not notice there lack of enthusiasm. Not a fan of my first visit. Can't say I'de return.

Downtown Menomenee Falls' most laid-back pub. Great beer selection, friendly service. On the backs of the river, right by the namesake falls, AJ's is the perfect place for a scoop after a stroll along the river or through Lime Kiln Park.

You guys need to step up your game. With the new construction I would expect a cleaner place with employees that care. This is a Irish place.. when I went to order a Irish coffee she said they didn't have any coffee.
They were also out of a few other bottles so choices were limited. Hopefully they step it up so I can come back and give a better review.

We have been to this establishment several times and have always had great food, great service, and a great value particularly with some of their awesome specials. I am moved to write this because this week their customer service went above and beyond. We had a funeral for my proudly Irish mother-in-law and wanted to arrange to have a dinner and raise a glass to her, however, this was happening on Fish Fry Friday. When I contacted them they bent over backwards to accommodate us and we were treated wonderfully even on such a busy night.

Great atmosphere. Lots of tv's for watching sporting events. Food is great. Order off the menu or nightly deals.

French onion soup was good. Should be baked. Pub fries good. Rolls very good. Batter fried cod fair. Crust too hard and doughy inside. Waitress was very nice.

Went on a Friday for fish fry, fish was great (would give the food 5 stars) but the service was rather slow. We sat in the bar at an open table per the hostess' suggestion for being served faster, after waiting for 20 mins we had yet to have anyone stop by our table so I went back to the hostess stand and let her know we had yet to be helped. It was another 10 minutes before anyone stopped by our table. Once the waitress did arrive the service was great just took a while for the initial table touch. Give the food 5 stars but the service only 3.

    This involves two situations.

    1. Last night a friend went their and ordered a drink with Kettle One vodka. She's a bartender. She watched the bartender pour rail vodka, though upchared for top shelf. She got her drink and it tasted like water. When she made complaint about both the lack of drink quality and rail versus top, the bartender dipped his fingers in her drink and tasted it, admitting it was watery.

    2. My wife and I, our daughter, and her friend ate there during Falls Fest today. The place was not busy in the least. It took forever to get drinks, services, and food. Food was good, but I will not return because it wasn't good enough to warrant a desired return after poor service. Our waitress was very friendly, so that isn't the service issue.

The top of the salt shaker was loose and dumped over half my plate of food and because I saw what was happening I moved the shaker away and stood it upright. The server said she would talk to the management and came back and said that half of my meal was fine and never offered to replace it. I didnt want to eat it due to the salt and asked for a bowl of soup. When we received the bill they charged us for my salty dinner anyway. Very poor management. More bar than restaurant. I will never go back.

Had the corned beef. One slice of the bread was more than the amount of meat on the sandwich. Would not recommend here to ear. Had a good selection of beer on tap.

Good ole Irish pub. Their $5 Reuben Thursdays can not be beat. It does have a tendency to get crowded and can be loud, but the food is worth the trip.
